If only you were giving hope to a fighter who had a heart, the most important thing to have in the ring. Kownacki will merely have to look at Martin funny and he will want to find a way out.

 

Kownacki isn't great himself and he looked terrible in his last fight, he's even fatter tonight. There are a lot of question marks regarding Martins heart but if he's on point he should be able to outbox and maybe even stop the limited Kownacki late.

I’m like barely paying attention to this fight, I’m only watching in between breaks in the UFC prelims, but is it as unexciting as it looks lol

 

Yep both undercard fights are right now lol, I'm watching both at the same time between phone calls and guests. But they pretty boring stuff so far.

 

Maybe. But too much confidence is probably the biggest weakness that one can have in these kind of things, this to me is a toss up fight but the way things are lining up seem to favor Martin. Kownacki I think is being overrated coming off the Szpilka win. We're talking a guy who hadn't fought in 17 months and was brutally KO'd in his last fight, and even before then was known to be a vulnerable guy(see Mollo fights and Jennings - Pretty sure a few journeyman hurt him as well) But even then he was a good 20 lbs lighter than he is today. Kilzade who has lost to anyone with a pulse took a couple of rounds off him and busted him up, we're talking the guy who was brutally iced inside two rounds by CW Kalenga and recently thrashed around by another ex CW Michael Hunter, hell most of Kilzade's career is as a CW. Given his smaller size and weight it could be argued that Szpilka himself is a better fit at CW, thus Kownacki hasn't proved that he can deal with a big man who's operating at a world - fringe world level. Martin is a real HW with decent skills at a 6'5 frame, and while the showing against Joshua was poor I'm not so sure he's the fraud that many are claiming him to be.
