How well would Louis Ortiz have done vs Riddick Bowe`s opposition?

Do you think light heavyweight legend Billy Conn could have lasted longer than Hide? Did you know that Bowe stated Hide was the hardest puncher he ever faced? Do you think Conn punched as hard or harder than Hide?

 

Ortiz isn`t a great fighter because he wasn`t that great vs Wilder.

 

I don`t think he`s got great fundamentals, but he`s got good offensive skills that slowed a little by the time he met Wilder.

 

I think by `92 and the second Bowe fight Holy was really good but before he put on the weight and became more mobile he was too small and easy to hit, Ortiz would have destroyed Stewart in better fashion than Holy did in his first meeting v Stewart, which was pretty average.

 

Did Matlala`s head weigh more than Bowe`s though?

 

Bowe didn`t beat anyone great in his era apart from Holy, he should have fought Lewis.

Funny you say this I was off work today and watched the Bowe v Hide fight and remember Bowe saying that.

I don't think Conn punched as hard as Hide but he was better technically and maybe could have fiddled his way around longer.

 

In this video you get impression that he liked training with him. Find it hard to believe that kickboxer would spark him in sparring but i guess everything is possible

Ortiz was exposed by Scott/Allen, i've said it multiple times before.

People go on about Scott running during their fight.....Well Allen didn't.

Dave Allen did nothing but stand in front of Ortiz and took shot after shot.


Ortiz is little more than a PED enhanced Dave Allen.


It was at this point it became obvious that Ortiz had had little punch resistance.......
