Not many fights theses days are worth staying up till 4am for anymore , but this is definitely one of them.
Not really no. Being that the commission, the sanctioning bodies, and the TV execs are rooting for Canelo, all he has to do is get to the final bell and victory is confirmed.
It's probably a little harder to get excited about a fight taking place in the middle of the night, but the promos came on over here and I felt very little interest. This: is exactly how I feel about it. A little bit jaded, not enjoyed the build-up etc. It all feels a bit grubby. However this: is the right way to go about things and I hope everyone enjoys a cracking fight.
Agreed, though fight time for me will be something like 4am and I'll be sat naked alone in my flat, so not quite the same.
I am ready! As long as the outcome is fair either way, I just want a decisive win one way or the other. It would be great if no judges were needed, and fouls of any kind don't help lead to the end result. But yes, my mind and body is ready!
i think based on what we saw in the first fight, more questions regarding the fight have arose, which, to me anyway, makes it more intriguing than the first one. I'm buzzing for it and cannot wait for saturday. even without the added drama, this is a great fight between two top fighters, as a boxing fan, how can you not be excited?
Be a fanboy of the sport of boxing first. Enjoy a rare occurrence (now a days anyway) with 2 of the top in the division doing battle. Say what negative thing you want of why this match up doesn't excite you, but would you rather watch your average boxing match with a guy 8W, 0L, 7KOs against a 11W, 7L, 2 KOs, mismatch? Come on, if you are a fan of the sport, regardless of the politics and BS antics outside the ring, this is still a very good reason to be excited about. Wings, Beer, Friends/Family, Boxing - Focus on the two tremendous skills displayed inside the squared circle and less about the shite and dislikes surrounding each boxer.
Initially after the draw I was not bothered but I would lie if I said I am not excited right now, I am counting the minutes each day now, I am actually more excited than I was the first time out, they did a good job with the genuine or fake dislike and tension between the two guys
I care more about seeing a great fight than I care about how the judges score it. We don't watch boxing for the judges, we watch boxing for the fight itself for the action and for the drama. Obviously I want to see a fair result too, but a fair result is subjective and relative based on who you talk to.
Exactly what I thought, seriously if I felt like that I wouldn’t wanna waste my time talking about how I dislike someone
