From the outset Canelo will move backwards , side to side but never forwards.

He will land less and without power but due to GGG eating the odd punch going forwards it will 'appear' that Canelo is doing quite well.

Oscar's judges will then be given the opportunity to score rounds for boxing ability rather than punches landed.

    116 - 112 x 3 Canelo.

    thanks and good night.

Or canelo will do what he said he would do and go forward. Then we can see gingerbread get knocked out bad.

Canelo has nowhere to go. He will retreat to the ropes like last time but GGG will be more ready, and Canelo will get ko'd.

Canelo might have lost weight, but that doesn't mean he's any better at running from GGG. He will find himself on the ropes pretty darn quickly.

I really think GGG separates Clenelo from his senses this time. An accumulation of venomous shots both body and head will secure the tko. And still.

Canelo is very elusive moving side to side, Golovkin cuts the ring very well. GGG had him cornered the first fight but didn't engage. He has to engage this time when he gets a chance. There won't be as many chances this fight.

Mayweather never moved forwards when he dominated Canelo. Maybe he should have stood still to make the fight fairer :nut::hollering:

GGG needs to knock him out or completely dominate him for the full 12 rounds and the latter is not going to happen so he really needs to knock him out or he is getting robbed. Im sure the worlds eyes are on the officiating after all the alleged dodginess but dont think for a second that will stop them cheating cuz they have no problems cheating infront of the world cuz there is nobody to pull them up about it.

I agree. The issue I have is that GGG has never entered a fight thinking that he had to knock out his opponent to win. So could he over work himself and start getting sloppy towards end of fight, letting Canelo counter him???

If GGG appears to be getting outboxed that's because he is

Throws flashy combinations which drive the crowd wild! Especially near the end of the rounds. ODLH used to do that all the time. His attempt to steal rounds w/ flashy, no-substance, combos.

Then, when we sit to count punches landed Golovkin lands about 2x as many.

GGG is already down 3 rounds and suffered a KD. All before the weigh in even happened.

Incorrect. Golovkin will get favorable treatment this time , just like Lewis did for the Holyfield rematch.

Canelo is outsized , outpowered / coming off inactivity and leg surgery. The ref and judges will be against him and he is battling uphill against the much bigger Golovkin.
    He doesn't stand a chance.

That's why he's down 3-6 rounds before he even enters the ring. Golovkin is 6 rounds ahead right now
