PBC is so committed that they drove their entire star stable to SHO. They are so committed that they can't wait to put on PPV's. I loved PBC when it kicked off. It was fun. Different networks offered different fights and some great nights. (I loved the Spike series) But then they crawled back to SHO. If PBC delivers on Fox what they do now on SHO, or even what they did on Spike... i will be on board 100%!!! But for now, i am going to wait. Just like Hearn and his DAZN deal. Seems fun but they haven't offered me(personally) anything that i would love to see. (WBSS seems rather enticing, but that is not a Hearn product) Btw, Hearn is now where Haymon was in 2010.
What the **** are you on about? Haymon was putting major cards on free to air TV in the beginning and he had the best stable in boxing in the beggining. He's still got the best stable and he's commited to 10 FREE cards per year for the next 4 YEARS! How is Hearn in any way like Haymon?
DAZN has invested ZERO dollars to date. Hearn has a 2 year deal based massively on subscriptions driven. Based on how he's doing so far he'll be getting FAR LESS than $50mn per year for his 16 US shows. Even if your bull**** Fox/Showtime numbers are true, that still means PBC is getting more than Hearn so maybe learn a tiny bit about boxing business before you chat any more bull****.
I am shocked to see that SHO has a 50mil USD boxing budget. At one point HBO's budget was 120. In 2016 or so it was rumored that HBO had cut it's budget down all the way to 25. However it was said that in 2012 SHO had increased it's budget to 28. Credit to them for constantly upping the numbers, be it true(50mil) or not. But what i will say is that SHO has had a rather mediocre product for such a high budget. (but it has been getting better on a year by year basis, still nothing close to 2013/14)
Jesus **** you mong! Like i said! At first it was amazing(just like you said) Hearn is like Haymon was in 2010. He has some major stars but no real pull. Haymon now has still 100 guys and some solid stars. Plus 2 network deals. Eddie has a lot of catch8ng up to do(if he can)
It also took Haymon years and years to get all those stars, he started with Robert Guerrero (a good name but not one I'd call a star) and built his stable over the years from there. Until he finally had enough to do the mass exodus from Golden Boy etc., and start the PBC. But like I said it took years to get all the pieces needed in the necessary positions to make the move, and there was never any real word or rumor that this was coming. Hearn on the other hand announced his intentions right off the bat with Matchroom USA in July. Here it is 2 months later and haters are calling failure, and being hypocrites. The PBC was built over a decade on a slow con play, not out in the open like Matchroom USA/DAZN. To be fair every-bodies gonna have to give this more than a couple months before calling it a flop. If Haymon got years and years to get things with the PBC where they are today, then Hearn should get more than 2 months. Just my opinion.
i hate haymon, i just know hes the type a guy puts a frown on my face whenever i deal with them, and his first couple years were crap... but i gotta give him his due, hes been bringing some shows and i suspect hes gonna keep upping his game. till the feds get involved, anyway.
What were the Porter-Garcia ratings? Hopefully their top fighters start fighting more often. It's ridiculous.
When PBC Launched Haymon already had all the fighters in place. Hearn had no stable at all, and he is still yet to sign a single fighter that can draw anything at all in the US. Danny Jacobs remains his #1 and he wouldn't even crack the top 20 PBC fighters at launch. As I said before, this forum is rife with NON-US fans sucking off Duckroom and Hearn. I don't know any US boxing fans who care at all about DAZN. ESPN+ is infinitely better at half the price. PBC is infinitely better for no new outlay. Everyone I know would rather put the $120 a year Hearn wants for DAZN towards PPVs. DAZN is niche in every country it operates in, yet Brits and other NON-US residents on here are claiming it's gonna take over US boxing. They all need to **** right off with that bull****.
You're an idiot. You flip flop constantly and your fake objectivity is about as believable as your purported sexuality. Haymon had the best stable in boxing when PBC launched. He still does. Hearn has nothing and nobody. He has not one US-draw. Top Rank dicks all over him too. There is no comparison.
Hearn has like 5 names. Like Haymon did at one point. Haymon built that amazing stable. How am i flop flopping? Eddie needs years to build something like that, that is if he is even good enough to do so.
