Why do lots of members from the boxing community believe Wilder can KO any HW with 1 punch?

Bolded is a strawman. Excepting pure troll outliers, we believe that

    1) Wilder has more potential 1 shot KO power than any other current HW and ranks very high in that regard p4p among current professional boxers, meaning that he has a greater chance to achieve that than the aforementioned.

    2) Wilder has the power to get any current HW in deep trouble with one clean shot, meaning that if he hits you clean with the big right, you're very likely gonna' need to hold on or somehow survive the follow up windmill storm or be stopped. We believe he has this power more than any current HW and ranks very high p4p among current professional boxers in that regard.

Your whole big spiel is properly directed at maybe 3 posters and those are trolls.

Standing by to be corrected by fellow non troll Bomb Squad members.

You don't want to be convinced, and I don't feel like wasting my time attempting to.

The guy has 39/40 stoppages. That’s enough evidence.

That's a fair summation. By the power vested in me by the 'lean towards AJ in this boring and somewhat contrived online tussle but mainly interested in seeing good fights in the HW division league' I approve this post.

    Jesus wept.

Stop watching boxing it's rotting your mind if it hasn't done so already.

Dillian Whyte for Christ sake man you just discredited yourself putting him up there.

I'll give you Wlad and price as question marks but there is no question he he hits harder and has more leverage behind his punches than AJ , Povetkin and Duhaupas and Dillian ffs Whyte which could barely hurt Ian Lewisham and Helenious.

I don`t feel Wilder hits harder than Povetkin or Price, but he does seem to hit hared than AJ who I feel trades power for speed and often throws combo`s slightly softer for more speed so they have a better chance of landing, it`s just that AJ is a better finisher than Wilder once he does have a fighter hurt, which these combo`s, he finished Wlad with a combo also, having said that the uppercut he landed on Wlad in that fight was as hard as any punch Wilder has thrown, I feel Wilder could knock AJ out with one punch but doesn`t throw single KO shots any harder than the punch Shavers dropped Holmes with.

Povetkin could knock Wilder out with one shot, he certainly hits harder than Ortiz did.

Does it really matter if it takes you one punch, or if it takes you 4?

If the guy can knock you out within 12 rounds, regardless, it just seems like a weird hair to try and split.

It was Wilder`s left hook that did the damage.

The ortiz fight made me a believer of Wilders power, the rest of Ortiz's career will go a long way in showing if that fight was because of Ortiz's lack of chin, or will go to cement Wilders power status.

That being said, the other thing that made me believe in Wilders power (as I myself doubted it for a long time) was the gym talk regarding his power. The people who have sparred him say he has exceptional power (Byrd says hes heard that its for real, Haye talks about it, ect) And for me thats enough (his record, stopping ortiz, and hearing what the vets have to say about it in the gym) to feel hes got legitimate power.

Ok, 39 out of 40 of Wilders opponents never saw the finishing bell. The reason for this is because Wilder can't punch! SMFH
