Never hook with a left hooker. Both had concrete chins, but Tyson easily the more skillful fighter. Who wins?

I reckons Tua gets hurt early and goes in to his shell ,tying Tyson up and breaking his stride. Tyson by decision in a big let down sort of fight.

Yeah he did. It took lots and lots of punishment to put him away. And he never seemed fazed by single shots, even against big punchers.

Correct, Tyson had a excellent Chin, you had to keep banging at him to drop him. In his prime for sure.I don't class the Danny William s or Lewis as Tyson at any where near his Best. And even then Lewis connected time and time again whilst Tyson took it .

If the lighthanded Buster Douglas and Evander Holyfield can knock him out, then I'm not so sure his chin is granite lol

Prime Tyson I think would have too much hand speed for a Tua in his prime. Both fighters had a stage in there career was their prime and they were at their best but Tyson was a great fighter at this point while Tua was very good at best. If Tua could land flush with his best left hook he'd have a chance of getting a knockout but thats not likely and even if he did I could see Tyson eating it and coming back. If Tyson had faced Tua during his comeback I'd have given Tua a very good chance of beating him.

Douglas was a 230ish pound top tier heavyweight fighter landing flush combinations repeatedly on a man he outweighed by 10-15 pounds. No matter how good your chin is, sooner or later, you're going to fall from enough punishment.

Foreman went down after 8 rounds with Ali. And Ali was many things, a poet, a master boxer, an excellent counter puncher, a good showman, but a devastating puncher he was not. And he was smaller than Buster Douglas (216 pounds vs 230 pounds) and Douglas likely hit harder. Yet, that doesn't stop people from waxing poetically on Foreman's chin.

Who cares if he's 230. Id rather be hit by a 300 lbs Valuev or 270 Carnera than a 188 Dempsey or a 210 Shavers. Douglas didn't hit that hard, weight gives diminishing returns in power, after 180lbs it's basically up to genetics and form.

Foreman got nailed by Tommy Morrison for 12 rounds, who hit harder than Holyfield, and didn't even look phased. Foreman only fell to ali from being tired, he had no stamina and Ali was playing to that by letting Foreman tire himself out. Foreman's chin is all time great tier, Tyson's is above average but not in the top 20

If your just a normal guy Valuev or Canera would knock you out badly with a single punch.
