Floyd beat an old De La Hoya and a young Canelo. Mikey, while prime, has yet to prove that he's on that level. However, like Lewis Gassed said, the win would be comparable with Floyd's wins over Cotto, Corrales, and Castillo.

Wilfredo Benitez beat Antonio Cervantes for the title when he was 17. Salvador Sanchez beat Wilfredo Gomez when he was 21. Tony Canzoneri beat Al Singer when he was 21. Ray Robinson beat Sammy Angot and Fritzie Zivic when he was 20, Jake LaMotta when he was 21, Henry Armstrong when he was 22.

Hmmm...interesting. So I assume Diego (RIP) moved to 135 after the Mayweather fight?

Stop it! PBF was in his 5th weight class 36 and past his prime that evens it out. Most 36 year old ATGs lose to young superstars, especially ones that are bigger.:deal:

That's crazy. Cotto fought Pac, Judah, Mosley, Clottey, Margarito, Floyd, Canelo... He's been in w/ elite dudes. Mikey's fought no one great.

Canelo wasn't on PEDs and was drained to death. And Floyd was roided as usual. Floyd basically created Canelo the Doping Diva.

    :deal:

Yeah, but he lost to Pac, Floyd, Margarito, Canelo, etc. When he stepped up he got slapped down, except for the time he got lucky against Martinez. Broner is basically as good as Judah. They were both trash talking, physically gifted, wastes of talent. Mikey and Cotto are both technically excellent, hard punching, very good but not quite great, divas.

Well you could argue if Floyd didn't waste his prime fighting a shot Gatti and C level guys like Baldimor and Mitchell maybe he wouldnt have that problem.

Floyd's resume is very deep. Far deeper than Lomas actually, but FMJ like Loma lacks the major signature win.

Gatti was a money fight it was PPV everyone would have fought him given a chance Mitchell was a tune up 1st fight at 147 and Baldo was for the lineal championship at 147. Nothing wrong with any of those fights.

Yes Garcia would actually be in his prime. Floyd fights midgets that are washed up. He has longer reach than 80 percent of his opponents.
