Just wondering because Munguia was pretty lax with his defence against smith, he was hit alot in that fight but too not much effect. Will the Ogre be able to walk down Cook with as much negligence.
I think Cook does hit harder than Smith but not by a significant margin, not enough to trouble Munguia anyway, even with his poor defence. I believe Cook proves a tough fight for Jaime nonetheless and unless he starts working on improving his defense I suspect he's in for a rude awakening in the future.
I think Liam is tough and extremely game to last the distance with the Ogre and trade 9rounds with canelo, also sticking in with Williams when he was getting outboxed, we havent seen Cook in a dog fight against a top fighter yet, cook's toughness is yet be tested. But he may be able to chin Munguia if he fights as stupid again, Like how Eggington got his head scrambled last weekend.
You obviously missed the Paul Butler bout where he did exactly that. His toughness has more than been tested, even in his stoppage defeat he could have continued and protested vigorously. The guy is nails, in over his head as he may be against the Mexican Ogre.
Did you see my thread on Butler/Cook and the upcoming Cook/Munguia bout? Just did it yesterday, was trying to turn people onto to one of 2017 better under the radar fights.
he hits way harder he was losing a fight badly and landed a punch out of no where not that long ago. but he isn't a skilled fighter on Smith's level.
This content is protected Just watched this interview, have never seen Cook box but he comes across as a real classy guy here. Hope he gives a good account of himself at the weekend. **** that ***** Hearn for messing this guy around. I remember at the time he tweeted that loads of his family and friends lost out on money for flights and hotels.
