Should we have any sympathy for duckers who go on to be ducked later on?

If a fighter refuses to fight top contenders/other champions whilst establishing themselves in a division should we have any sympathy if the other champions or money fighters in said division freeze them out?

Would it send a message to upcoming fighters that can crushing your way to a payday isn't the way forward?

I'd like to say yes but the selfish part of me still wants to see these fighters finally step up and either prove themselves or make way for the real champs.

Like Wilder is apparently being ducked by Joshua?

    Despite ducking Vitali, Wlad etc?

I wouldn't have much sympathy for such a fighter (i.e. taste of his own medicine) but in my view we still should be criticizing those doing the ducking regardless. Ducking stops us getting good fights ...
