Well he works for GBP so he is bound to talk up the GBP fighter. Like my mother used to say to me while she baked cakes, "if you are a good boy you can lick the spoons" I think Oscar may of offered Bernard a similar bribe.
Something along those lines iirc. I know he refused to be VADA tested, I'll be honest I never bought into the "medical ageless marvel" he was portrayed to be.
That is true. He has tried to be great and fight who he could. That Chavez Jr. fight when Chavez Jr. was fighting Sergio Martinez would have been a great fight for both guys. Chavez Jr. was physically a big guy. It would have been a brutal fight with Golovkin.
He is better than Kovalev but he is smaller. I am excited about the fight now and hope Canelo proves himself again. I get the feeling there will be more fireworks this time early, yet if Canelo hangs in there it will turn into a similar fight again with him countering and GGG coming forward. I think it takes a lot of guts for Canelo to fight him again.
Ummmm... obviously he is in some way financially invested in Canelo's career. And of course Hopkins will be bitter about people believing his record is up for the taking should Golovkin win. It would be stunning and illogical if he said anything else, really.
The Hopkins who beat Trinidad I think would stop GGG. I think it would be very similar to the Trinidad fight.
Hopkins is just a Punk and almost no common sense so what would you expect for him to comment? Plus he is jealous of GGG being said to be better than him.
Because unlike Canelo & Bhop GGG doesn't cheat to win fights & nor does he lose to 'white boys'... His words, not mine
Man I'm excited just for the weigh in today, don't know how I'm going to act tomorrow come fight time! I do give Canelo props for fighting him again, although him and Oscar did time it perfectly in Golovkin's career. Two of the top middleweights are daring to be great and I think we will see a good fight. Everyone picking Canelo are really taking the easy route, I think they are really underestimating the heart, stamina, power and will to win of Gennady Golovkin!! Saturday we may just see the dog come out.
