Kuzmin is there for the taking. If price loses, it's clear he just has a mental thing that will always prevent him from winning when he steps up. And it would truly be time for him to retire.
I don't think Kuzmin has a good punch resistance. Price should land one of his big punches and who knows..
i don't think so, his obvious chin and stamina issues aside, he seems **** scared to even throw punches. i think Kuzmin will just stick it on him and blast him out
Admit it you're thinking that it would be nice, To see the resurgence of big David Price, That titan no longer in the rejects bin, The butt of those jokes about his glassy chin, Instead a colossus from scouseland doth appear, Striking all his opponents with crippling fear, As the journalists cease from their matchroom bumming, As Big Davy Price is rearranging their plumbing, A body that's bigger by far than his head, A punch that is harder than any its said, Hits with so much power it destroys any mass, And boxing for minutes before comes the gas, Oh let Kuzmin's head be knocked into space, And let Pricey return cos that would be ACE,
He could but he won't. Kuzmin is the one being undersold here, he's being completely written off despite his amateur credentials in one of the worst divisions in boxing. Fact is he's still one of the better HW prospects and some of his off nights(Mansour) aren't as bad as people make them out to be. it's hard to stay motivated when you aren't getting good fights on a big stage. This is Kuzmins chance to show that he's the goods and while that remains to be seen I think he'll put in a good showing and demolish Price. As someone who likes Price an upset win would just feed the delusion and be set up for a few more bad KO's L. He loses here and it's probably it.
He can like in every fight he loses after flooring the opponent. Idiot Sauerland playboys, if they loved him like they claimed, should have gotten him a quality trainer with an actual brain who could direct the guy and make good decisions for the fighter regarding opponents and risk/reward. For instance, you don't take a guy with engine issues when he's lean, then encourage him to pack on a whole lot of weight and put him up against a durable and experienced world level opponent like Hammer who can come forward all night.
