Canelo will use more movement with his repaired knee. If G allows him to rest again then this thing goes the full 12. If G attacks Red on the ropes and bangs the body then he has a decent chance of staggering the younger Canelo in the mid to late rounds.
Canelo clearly looks ready to shift into reverse and make tracks based on his smaller body this time.
GGG needs to push the action, cut the FKN ring off and just throw caution to the win. If G gives away the first few rounds AGAIN we get a close decision for Canelo this time
    50/50 fight

Actually, fighters do tend to get old overnight.

Yep. Golovkin needs to invest in the body early and hard. I have a feeling the late rounds will decide the match.

I think Canelo's prior insistence that he is not a *real* MW will bear fruit. He's going to get beaten up. Maybe not stopped, but battered and on the wrong side of a relatively safe (like 8-4 decision). I don't think he can fight hard for seven rounds.

On the other hand, the setup to this fight resembles that of Jones/Tarver II. So there's that. Fighters do get old overnight.

From a year ago, when he beat Canelo. Are you basing this on his last fight? As for the idiot who said GGG looks slower than 5 years ago, well......yeah he is. All he needs to be is at the same level as he was 1 year ago and he wins this easy.

Dwyer's jinx gets trumped by Atlas' jinx.

But if Dwyer also puts a massive bet on Golovkin the cosmic scales might tip on his side.

He has to open up without fear of being countered. That is what it takes to beat guys and start a legacy. Hagler knew he had to open up with Hearns.

I agree^ However, Golovkin complained that Canelo's bodysway caused his body blows to hit Canelo's back and the ref warned him about it. I'm not sure how seriously to take that but maybe he felt that he was dominating the fight off the jab and that he didn't need to risk getting countered from body punching. Clearly, he was wrong, if that was the case, and I hope that he invests in the body this time. He's shown Canelo has little for him in terms of hurting him.

Maybe, but I would not be surprised if he hits GGG this time and does hurt him. If they exchange more this time that could all change. GGG has to be more aggressive and take chances and I think he will early.. He should win. He is bigger.
