I feel Tony Bellew deserves massive respect for fighting Usyk. Do people feel it's time the haters give him the respect he deserves ?

Don’t know many that hate him but love him or hate him he wears his heart on his sleeve and is a true gladiator of the game. Respect where due I say.

Yeah fair play to him, you can't knock his attitude or bottle.

100%. he's had his crowning night, winning a world title at goodison, he's earned his millions against Haye, he could've walked off into the sunset, so to speak. He didn't need to take this fight, but he has and i've got massive respect for him, no matter how little faith i have in him winning it

Just can't warm to him, talks complete bollocks and one minute he's playing the working man card then the next talking down to people. Team Usyk

It’s probably his last fight and it would’ve probably been easier to make at Heavyweight but he’s proven it’s more than a cash out for him, he’s striving for greatness. Fair play to the lad.

Of course he deserves respect but also, at the end of the day, this is a chance to become undisputed champion. All four belts around one man’s waist. It’s kind of a no-brainer. Any boxer would take this opportunity, and that’s not to mention the huge payday involved too.

I like Bellew when he's not towing the Hearn/AJ/matchroom line.

I actually find him a good pundit unless any of the above is mentioned.

Yeah from all accords Usyk was preferring for fight to be at Heavyweight but Bellew wanting to fight for all the belts. Lets be honest Bellew has a taller order at Cruiserweight, than if fight was at Heavyweight.

It could just have easily been Fury, Whyte or Michael Bisping.

There's been nothing coherent about Bellew's career for quite some time. You just follow the circus wherever it goes.

I have more respect for those who entered the cruiserweight tournament. Anyone would jump at the chance to win all the belts on a PPV show in just one fight.

Went right off him with all the Haye fight crap. Then with him sucking Joshua off all the time, but I always said if he fights at Cruiser again against any legit man he’d have my ultimate respect. Looking forward to it, I hope he can pull off a shock.

I was already taking my bird to Manchester for a birthday meal and drinks etc, she still is going but she has to wait until a month after her birthday now.

Echo the sentiments above. Brilliant to see usyk on these shores

I give Bellew a 10% punchers chance, but after losing stupid amounts of money on his recent fights, I won't be betting against him

Respect for getting a huge pay cheque? Why? He is a greedy man and wants one final payday.
