He could get as big a payday v a lesser fighter someone like Whyte or Stevenson.

    BS.

Tony Bellew in no way had to fight Usyk. His set for life. Yes he will be handsomely rewarded to fight Usyk but he deserves to. This is no gimme

Good lad, Bellew. Daring to be great. Going into a fight as a huge underdog...i’m sure he’s done that before. 80% KO ratio since stepping up to 200ib+ so he’ll fancy his chances to land some hurtful shots.

I am amazed Bellew has taken this but fair play to him for doing it. He is an intelligent guy and people incorrectly knock him for knowing his limits and knowing who to fight for a win. This is why agreeing to this fight amazes me - has he seen something to beat him which everyone has missed.
I definitely be getting tickets for this.

I'm a huge Usyk fan not only for his brand of boxing but also the way he conducts himself out of the ring. He sets a great example through his work ethic and training techniques and has a great sense of humour too.

Really looking forward to seeing him box in the UK. Legit P4P boxing road warrior.

Very happy the fight has been made. It gives Usyk a proper platform against a name opponent, and an opportunity to raise his profile for the inevitable foray into the heavyweight division.

If you're being harsh you can call it a bit of a Bute move from Bellew, but **** it he deserves credit for taking a fight that a lot of people thought he wouldn't. If he pulls this one off it's right up there with the great British wins.

He's set for life but he wants more. Not hard to understand.

Stevenson who is 50 years old and hasn't fought in about a decade or Whyte at HW who has bigger fish to fry than Bellew. Yeah, sound logic.

Besides which, Dillian Whyte would destroy Bellew.

    Nail, head, hit...

    Risk vs Reward.

I think Usyk tears him a new one unless he suffers a career threatening injury along the way.

If Bellew actually wins this and pulls it off where would people rank him in ATG uk fighters?

The same peiple saying the Bellew is doing this for the pay check are the same people that would say he was ducking Usyk if he didnt fight him.

Massive respect to Bellew for taking this fight...and lol at the people saying he doing it for the pay check...either way it takes balls so fair play to him

What bigger fish, Dereck Chisora? Never said Bellew would necessarily beat Whyte, my point is Usyk is harder and Bellew could earn as much fighting other people.

Someone needs to pop over to the Liverpool forums and tell them their a bunch of mugs for buying into Tony B, David Haye was a has-been half cripple, MatchRoom clique made out Haye was this killer lol.
I got this feeling Tony will say some really serious personal things about Alexander Usyk which will get more PPV buys but Tony could well and truly come unstuck. Of course certain individuals will be rubbing their hands after the fight.

If thats the case then 90% of this forum are 'mugs' as most thought Haye would beat him (muself included)
The public wasnt to know that Haye was shot to bits...
