Put out by Steve Wood on his own Youtube channel as a direct response to Hearn.

    According to Steve.

This is pretty much the bottom line.

    Listen to the interview.

There is no correlation between the words chav and working class.

Chav - a lower class person typified by brash and loutish behaviour

It was an idiotic comment. You don’t have to like him though and that’s fine.

It was in response to the stories of anti-social and heavy drinking. I have re listened to the interview and he said he has been tee-total for 2.5 years which I missed the first time round. Great achievement.

I don't associate lower class with working class. As I said IMO there is no correlation between the two words.

Unless you are able to redefine the meaning of words in the English dictionary, then there is a direct correlation between the two words. If you don't know the meaning don't use it.

Secondly you now say your original comments were ' in response to the stories of anti-social and heavy drinking'. Yet in your initial post you said 'I must have missed this part of the interview. He came across as a typical Geordie chav and a bit of a troublemaker in the parts I was listening too.'

Stop backtracking. Own what you said. Its fine to not like him though, just try and justify your reasoning.

If you do not see a difference then there is no point trying to reason with you.

Yes, anti social behaviour and hanging around in gangs is a common trait of 'chav'. As Lewis describes.

Personally I don't like the guy and I don't rate him as a boxer either. I think he will get chinned soon if he does not improve however knockouts seem to excite some people and that's fine. We are all entitled to an opinion and time will tell who is right and who is wrong.

And for the record, I am 'working class' but in no way am I 'lower class', a 'chav' or 'yob'.

I understand you might not be a fan of his past but you’ve got too give him respect for turning his life around
