    Not the guy with the best lifetime hook, but one in a fight that was astonishing, there are so many that come to mind :

    Joe Louis , Max Baer
    Frazier nailing Ali
    Robinson Fulmer
    Curry, Milt M.
    Barkley clipping Duran

    Frazier dropping Ali is the most famous

    I think Henry Cooper's when he decked Ali is often overlooked as how good of a punch it actually was.
    Most of the focus is on what happened next after the bell went.

    It wasn`t as hard the hook Frazier hit Ali with.

    But it was a wicked short, snapping left hook! I was astonished Duran stayed up right.

    Walcott-Charles III is as good as it gets. Maybe there are hooks just as good, but the symmetry of Walcott shuffling casually toward Charles, slipping inside his lead, and then landing a perfect hook to kayo him with a single punch while Charles slumps slowly to the canvas is unsurpassed.

    The hook Tyson hit Tubbs with in the second round was good because of Tubbs after he was hit.

    To the chin ::Alfonso Zamora had a perfect left hook.
    To the body: his stablemate Lupe Pintor all the way.
    Best left hook ever-Mike Weaver ko Big John Tate 15 on a night of left hooks.

    The one my Uncle Logan landed on Dram Mackay at the 1999 Struy Mauld dance was ****ing unbelievable.

    the one on Duran turned him around and he stayed up. Curry with Milton was odd. He just reached out and Milton was down. I like Matthew Hilton's left hook.
