I am personally picking canelo to win on points. Are you suggesting that me and other canelo backers are not really sure of him winning because truthfully that would be right as I am not too sure, the fight could go either way. Ggg backers seem to think he has it in the bag already which is strange given what happened in the first fight but then I was someone who felt the first fight was rightfully a draw.
Landing an average of four punches per round is not outboxing, especially when most of those jabs were weak measuring jabs. Yes, just an average of four jabs per round.
I don't, i hope Canelo wins, not only because i admire his boxing skills but also because the GGG fanboys are unbearable, it's getting ridiculous. You can't even write anything positive about Canelo without GGG nuthuggers coming out of their holes and spamming you with bull****. They're among the worst fans i have ever seen in any sport and i have seen a lot, Golovkin actually deserves better fans because he is a great sportsman.
What? Are you relying on Compubox again? Keep desperately trying to convince yourself you saw something that no one else did, that's called delusional by the way.
Yup.A lot of GGG fans actually dislike Canelo and have invested so much time degrading him and being disrespectful, a lot of time, they are very emotionally invested. Most Canelo fans seem to understand that both fighters have their strengths despite Canelo being talented, but seem willing to accept any outcome. Going into the first fight I had it near 50/50, going into this fight I have it something like 55/45 in favor of Canelo.
All that "no face-off until the weigh-in" seemed ill-advised on GPB's part from a promotional and psychological standpoint, and it now backfired. I understand that GBP wanted to create a safe space for Canelo for a straightforward camp, but all that Golovkin PED talk clearly got under his skin, look at all the nervous motions in his hands and legs! There was a scenario where all the scoring and clen controversy affected GGG more in the head, a bad sign especially with aging. Yet he was ice cold, relaxed and smiling vs. a nervy wreck that wanted to get over with it as soon as possible. GGG clearly played the better psychological game and after all that separation pressure just erupted on Clen's shoulders once he got inches away from his foe. Fascinating stuff! Perhaps made up by my mind.
You just like Canelo because Floyd beat him. You are simply a fan by proxy. Also Golovkin fans are usually rational, how about Canelo fans?
I rely on what I saw and my understanding of the rules for judging professional fights. I saw Canelo land the harder cleaner punches in more rounds than Golovkin. I saw Canelo use better defense in more rounds than Golovkin. I saw Canelo fight his fight in more rounds than Golovkin. Rounds 1-4 and 10-12 I gave to Canelo. (Ring generalship) I saw Canelo land power punches more often than Golovkin and reduce GGG to jabbing. (Effective Aggression) A close fight indeed, but if you're honest and you use the 10 pt scoring system, no way GGG won 8-4. I can accept 6-6.
I'm not even that much of a Floyd fan, how do you came to that conclusion ? I don't see many Canelo fans writing bull****, of course there are exceptions but it's mostly GGG fans.
