he looks in ony slightly better shape as Kovalev does, he's a head case that will never learn. he probably wins tomorrow. but he'll never be world champion again.
Better than usual. Let's see how far Magick has gotten Spike. Let's be clear current Spike would've KO'd old man back foot thumpin Stevens clean too. HBO not as dumb as they look I got 100$ Spike underdog. Lemieux wayy more experienced at elite level but seems battle worn and can be flat as the earth. HBO wants Spike to win
I still can't believe that a fighter who couldn't cut it in the UK is second on the bill of a US PPV card.
Guys like Charlo's/Spence/Hurd/Tank/Wilder are fighting once a year, yet they can give Spike O'Sullivan a Co-main event (Or what ever its called) on a PPV card? Yet there are idiots on here criticizing DAZN for putting on the WBSS and fights like Saunders v Andrade, Bellew v Usyk, Joshua v Povetkin etc. Is it any surprise I like Hearn? He's pretty much the only guy right now giving us fans regular fights.
Looks a greasy POS to me.... He prob tonks Spike into next week doe. Hope the ring master can tame the lion.
Al Haymon is too smart for his own good, as it pertains to his role in boxing, as a promoter, manager, or whatever he chooses to call himself. Despite having many of the top fighters under contract, he chooses to put them in showcase fights rather than matching them tough to determine the true “King of The Hill.” His supporters will point to the fights he has made and I can’t disagree. The problem is sports fans are of a “what have you done for me lately” mindset and tend to move on to the next thing quickly. It seems like whenever a PBC fighter (Spence vs Brook, Thurman vs Porter, Jacobs vs Quillin, Charlo Bros., etc.) win an important fight, they end up sitting out for a long time. As a result, they lose any momentum they may have had towards reaching superstar status. Who knows, maybe Haymon is doing this by design, to keep these guys dependent on him.
