So you are a composing a guy who many regard as the greatest cruiser ever to a one legged fraudster and a guy who has literally fought nobody of any note in his career?

Bellew has not a hope in hell of beating usyk.

He's secured himself financially, now he's trying to secure a legacy. It's a no brainier for him and if he doesn't win he can hide behind weight loss. The only risk is to his health but he takes that risk no mater who he climbs in the ring with.

The one legged fraudster who Bellew had not a hope in hell of beating according to about 95% of people.

There were plenty more than 5 percent that fancied bellew in that fight and the odds at the bookies told you so.

Like I said, comparing usyk to haye or makubu is absurd.

    He was best price 5/2.

Nobody is comparing Usyk’s ability to Haye’s or Makabu’s but you already know that.

The comparison is that once again Tony Bellew is going in as the underdog and written off just like he was against the other two.

It's also a battle between two legendary genius coaches in Anatoly Lomachenko and Dave "Penfold" Coldwell.

Plenty revisionism regarding Bellew v Haye.

Plenty people including myself thought a fit David Haye wins the second fight. Like it or not Bellew beat a fit David Haye fair and square.

Yes that David Haye was a fighter well past his best but the majority still expected Bellew to lose.

So clearly more people were backing him than 5 percent you claimed.

You are comparing the instance of him being an underdog between completely different fighters in terms of ability. It’s ridiculous.

Tony Bellew and Hearn in hindsight would never had taken the Haye fight unless they knew. Hayes a salesman, got his money, and probably thought one punch would be all he needed the first fight, Matchroom knew Haye was done.
I don't particularly like Bellew, with the tripe he spouts about AJ, but can't not credit him for taking this. Every chance he could easily get shown up here.

About 95% of those same people also added the caveat of “barring injury”.

Full credit to Bellew. He’s carved out a very solid career, won a world title and become a PPV fighter. Forging a decent media career and is now facing potentially the best P4P fighter in the world. I’d sit down for a cuppa with him and appreciate every second.

Yeah I do rate him... and I was against him twice with the Haye fights.

But to be honest, he has nothing to lose here and everything to gain. I think he will be highly motivated to win 4 belts. Either way he's made enough money so he's chillin.

I feel bellew provides more challenge than Gassiev.

I went right off Bellew after his first win against Haye, the rubbish he was coming out with was deplorable imo. I can accept he was hyping the next fight but all this salt of the earth carrying Haye to his corner when Haye stuff was vomit inducing. The man has charisma but I feel like he is one of those people that goes on about how real they are but the truth is they just say what fits the moment. He does deserve respect though.

if he had a mute button. Id' quite like Bellew. Honest grafter of a fighter with good ring IQ and decent movement and power.

But he just talks far too much for me.

But certainly big respect for taking this fight. Very very impressed with his ambition going for this one.

Is his trainer still Caldwell ? Can't see Penfold devising the master plan required to beat Usyk.
