Despise is a strong ass word for someone not related to you, never met or know on a personal level. Sounds like some serious personal problems you got going on brother.
Well, boxing has been one big reality-tv show for quite some time now. There lies the answer to your question, for far too many people, personality cult is above actual boxing, which is how “superstars” get away with cheating, ducking decent opposition etc. Just imagine Real Madrid fans hating on Barselona because “they’re boring” outside of the football field. Or Ronaldo not being banned for and thrown out of the league for being caught doping. Or Sanhose Sharks ducking Boston Bruins the whole season because “the money ain’t right” and requesting ridiculous things like “we’ll only play against them in our arena and they must have 4 players on ice at all times, we’re the A side, take it or leave it” You could say it’s apples and oranges and I would agree to extent but if boxing is about money and not about finding who’s the best then **** that system and **** everyone who loves it. Noise = money in boxing and having exceptional talent and skills means dick if you don’t talk trash on social media and don’t ***** yourself out.
That said, I am a Canelo fan and I mean his boxing abilities, but as OP said - he’s the embodiment of everything that is wrong with boxing today so I can’t help but wish for him to get smashed by no doubt less talented but better fighter.
I read this as you like Canelo because he’s openly a diva but you don’t like Golovkin because you think he’s a diva. Does that about sum it up??
I'm not really rooting for Canelo as such; I just think he'll get the nod on the judge's scorecards in Vegas if Golovkin doesn't stop him.
Hey dumbass, try replying to the point instead of this homo ****. You like then, cheaters like the coont Drugnelo, and dislike non-cheaters like GGG. Right... ****ing tools.
3) Let's imagine this. In terms of a decision, what would happen if Canelo were knocked down during the fight vs. GGG being knocked down during the fight? I think the answer is obvious. Assuming both fighters finish the fight and the fight remains close, Canelo wins going away on all cards. Whereas, GGG may or may not get the decision in a razor-thin victory. I think any honest fan will agree with this. I want to emphasize HONEST.
STFU you mark ass *****. Point of the matter is Canelo will beaat GGG tonight then you'll be on to the next.
We'll see dren! I'm picking Canelo have an avatar bet with @Drew101. Just hope he actually wasn't on anything. If he wasn't I got him winning a close but clear decision. 7-5 or 8-4. The opposite of last time. Canelo just has way more things he can improve on then GGG, can't teach an old dog new tricks!
I got an avi bet with @Sugar 88.. and I bet 400 with s dude a work . I'm a little nervous, but ready to see what Canelo can do different in the ring tonight. I see GGG doing the same thing as last time.
Well Canelo just has to throw more punches. He doesn't need to change anything drasically. He can't be so conservative. He was clearly the better boxer in there but his stamina issue(something that has been an issue his whole career), was the biggest weakness in that fight. He did come on strong at 10-12, but he needs to fight with that energy more consistently.
I dunno. I think GGG made a couple of tactical errors in not targeting the body and waiting a couple of rounds to push forward behind the jab. In contrast, I think Canelo fought about as well as he possibly could-and still lost a close fight on my card. Should be interesting to see everything unfold, though. Good luck, @ellerbe!
