Not necessarily favour, but have a reasonable chance, say atleast 1 out of 6.

Edit: Other than Greb obviously lol.

lol. Tunney would get killed by top MW amateurs today let alone pros. Do you really think that lowly of humans that you'd think that we regressed since the early 1900s?

Greb might well have been the only one who could have done it!

Pretty sure he means black. Not sure WTF the likes of Benn and McClellan brings to the table to beat Tunney over Dempsey.

Never got why boxing forums are so full of racialist reasoning.

Cultural factors are far more important, and they've changed a lot over time. Refusing to face fighters detracts, but it doesn't negate someone's actual achievements. It'd be absurd to say SRR was trash because he ducked Burley. There's been fighters of all different styles from all different backgrounds at all different levels.

Hopkins wouldn`t have stopped Tunney in `93 when he had that awful fight with Jones, Tunney was more skilled than Hopkins at that point and after Hopkins improved defensively he got less knockouts, so I don`t he could have stopped Tunney but Gene wouldn`t be able to land much either because eventually Hopkins became better defensively than every other guy mentioned here.

Jones would have ducked Tunney and G-man would have been out-boxed the same way Dempsey was, McCallum wasn`t very good at light heavy, his body was flabby, but he made life hard for Roy early in their bout, so he could do the same with Gene maybe.

Sorry about that thread, GGG would of had a much better chance vs Tunney than he would vs Marciano.
