    Álvarez is jabbing and stepping in with cautious half-steps, forming a wide-based stance and pushing off the rear foot when he drops in the odd right hand. Golovkin is popping double jabs up top and looking to find a home for the right cross down the middle, not quite landing it as they circle and deny each other any straight-ahead center line hard targets. Álvarez gets in a left hook; Golovkin takes it well. Golovkin is pushing his jab now, setting up the right, but unable to get the cargo delivered. Álvarez tickling his chin with his own jab and sprinkling in some body shots.
