    It's a shame that a great fight and brave performance by Alvarez to make it out of the 11th has to be overshadowed by another blatant robbery.

    No real boxing fan should be saying a bad word about either guy. Canelo didn't gas, didn't run. Golovkin showed both unreal heart, and ability to adjust that I didn't think he had. I had it a draw, but I don't have a problem with the decision because Canelo dominated the first 8, I know I'm such an HBO shill.

    Just an amazing fight. Best fight I've seen in a long time. And with the spotlight on boxing the sport won.

    Speaking of Hikal, why exactly did he never turn pro? He represented Egypt four times in the Olympics, was a bronze medalist in the AIBA world championships, and held a win over Golovkin along with a razor-thin loss to Oleg Saitov...in fact he was never dominated by anyone except James DeGale.

    Just the lack of a real cohesive Egyptian boxing scene & support system? Shame, if that's all it was.

    If Golovkin was a few years younger I'd be more up for the trilogy. At his age that fight has probably took more out of Golovkin than Canelo. I think if there was a trilogy Canelo would win again but by a bigger margin.

    Close close fight. So many close rounds that were a toss up. A 7-5 either way or a draw I wouldn't argue with.

    Same type of fight as the 1st one, but it was even better. Not a brawl or all-out war, just boxing of the highest quality with both men landing big shots. And taking big shots. Two of the best chins in boxing. Both of them hard as nails.

    Amazing fight. Buzzing after that.

    This was a great fight and Canelo earned his stripes with me. He is a worthy champion but I still think that he lost this fight. I can live with a draw but not a win.

    My respect for Canelo increased leaps & bounds tonight.

    Having said that, he's down 0-2 vs. GGG in my book.

    People are giving rounds for Canelo walking forward, yet ignoring the GGG jab.

    If you had Canelo winning this fight, by the same scoring, GGG won all 12 rounds in the first fight.

    Nah I don't mind it when a judge goes against me. They're paid to this, I'm just a fan.

    I still think Golovkin gave the better performance but Canelo is now the number 1 regardless of what you or I think.

    If someone wants a belt he's who they have to go through now.

    Plus Dear La Hoya has put on many many great fights himself and has done more for boxing than I ever will so I'm not gonna start discrediting him.
