Why did Golovkin "run" most of the fight?

Why are you starting with this? Golovkin was stepping to the side the entire match because it forced Canelo to reset his feet. Golovkin was never on the ropes. Since when was side stepping running?

It's called being put in an awkward position and being forced backwards. He certainly wasn't planning to fight on the "backfoot" and didn't look like he was ready for it either. He was never allowed to set himself to throw the power punches the bums he has fought gladly allowed him to.

Comparing that comical half confused performance with Mayweather's defensive fighting shows disturbing signs of mental illness.

Sidestepping you mean never going forward and letting Canelo dictate the pace the whole time LMAO. His team shouldn't have said anything and I wouldn't care. You can't call someone out for "running" and then not sit in the pocket or go forward from rounds 1-9. Canelo gassed the **** out that's why GGG came forward towards the end.

Canelo fought a good fight, though I am wondering about that decision. GGG looked slow at times and had opportunities to counter that he couldn't capitalize on. I think age has caught him.

"Run?" Are you kidding? This was one of the most bruising fights I've ever seen.

LOL are you kidding me? Yes 10-12 was brutal. 1-9 was Canelo chasing GGG around while GGG tapped him with soem jabs. Why didn't GGG sit in the pocket and trade?

Doesn't matter what he planned. He landed more, better than the opponent. He also damaged him way more than your crush did when he fought the fresh out of highschool version of Canelo.

Boxing from the outside is running apparently. From the same guy who's a Ward/Mayweather fan. LMFAO.

Fighting backing up for part of the fight is not the same as running. Yeah, he tapped him with "some" jabs. Double what Canelo tapped him with if I remember.

Look I don't care if a fighter uses movement. That's not my point. GGG was on the backfoot from 1-9. Abel wanted Canelo to stand and trade LMAO. Canelo was more than willing to do that. Did Canelo beat GGG at his own game? Hmm. (thinking emoji)

GGG landed more according to CompuBox with Canelo landing the more telling blows.

There is just no way he landed 39% of power punches imo
He was swinging and missing all night long, especially last half. Zero chance that is accurate.
Compubox has been trash for a while.
