Clenelo fought really well and he's a hell of a fighter and obviously he has a lot more miles left on his clock than GGG does on his and therefore he didn't have to dig as deep into his reserves as GGG. But even so I had GGG up by a couple of rounds and I feel gutted for him, especially after all the hardships he's had to endure and the sacrifices he's had to make just to forge a career for himself: Having to uproot and leave his family and homeland, learn a new language and adapt to a complete new culture over in Germany, fighting all over the world in his opponent's backyard's, home countries etc. Then he got royally screwed over in Germany by his own promoters which stalled his career and hindered his progress. Then he had to uproot and head over to the US and do it all over again.

And the way he was ducked and avoided for a large part of his prime was absolutely disgraceful and it leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth as does tonight's fight and his previous encounter with that spoiled brat ginger salad tosser. The worst part about it is all these so called fans who instead of putting pressure on all the fighters who ducked and avoided him like he had Ebola and the Bubonic plague at the same time and criticizing them, he was the one they heaped criticism on.

We expected a robbery tonight if the fight goes 12 rounds. We got a robbery.

Let's be real. GGG was NEVER going to win a decision. He won the 12th round clearly and they gave it to Canelo so he can get the decision. Very subtle.

how did he do that when Canelo landed the cleaner shots? You punks wanted Canelo to stand and fight GGG MEXICAN style, and that's what he did and he won!! Go to sleep

I think Derevyanchenko is tailor made for Canelo. Canelo would beat him clearly imo. Jacobs hasn't been looking good either. If the Jacobs from the GGG fight shows up I give him a shot, but based off lately Canelo body bags him too. BJS has the best shot due to style. Funny thing is I think Jacobs beats BJS due to style.

    Yep.....

But i can't see any guy getting the nod in a competitive fight with Canelo.

The guy has had the benefit of the doubt in every fight, even against Floyd.

Me too, I scored both fights for GGG but I gave round 12 to Canelo. I thought he landed better shots, did more damage. The slip didn't bother me.

LOL we all knew canelo has the judge's backing if it goes to a decision. It was inevitable. Anyway, havent seen the fight yet. Sounds like a good one.

Yes that does speak volumes and with Abel I don’t think he’s the type to say something like that to motivate his man.still given where they were he’d of known that being a round up or two wasn’t gonna cut it,corruption aside every cheer for the home guy counts for something doesn’t it?

I was waffling on the sixth, wrote down Golovkin then thought better of it, crossed out Golovkin and wrote Alvarez close. If I'd given it to GGG like my first impulse, I'd have scored the fight 116-112 GGG just like last time.
