If you think GGG's game is brawling then yes. I personally never saw GGG that way but hey. Abel and others though who are on that "running" ****, were proven wrong though for sure.
Time to face the facts. GGG had been overrated all of these years. Mayweather beat Canelo with ease years ago. GGG is just a average fighter and he always has been
GGG felt those body shots in my opinion. I think he felt the body shots more than Canelo felt most of his punches.
Gotta confess that I am not entirely confident that those numbers are completely accurate - I wonder if punches that were partly or perhaps fully blocked were counted among the power punches. I'll watch the replay and hope to get a better picture of the proceedings.
His footwork was horrendous. Its common knowledge he cant fight going backwards. He wasn't side stepping, you tell because canelo was stepping straight to him in a straight line. Eating combos with a desperate jab because he couldn't set his feet to let off anything effective. His shots had nothing on them.
I called Canelo fans out for saying "Mayweather ran", when Canelo used movement in the 1st GGG fight. So I'm just being consistent. No bias here.
Canelo was younger, smaller, less experienced. Mayweather never beat a Middleweight Canelo. Also even though this fight was closer, most people including Magazines and news stations, also boxing pundits and fighters will have Golovkin winning it. Golovkin is older, stop pretending age isnt real. An old Golovkin beat Canelo twice.
You can "run" and still win the fight. It's a red herring. As long as you land it's irrelevant. It just makes a loss look even worse if you run to boot, but backing off never meant you auto-lose the fight. Everyone knows that, including you.
Do you still think I'm biased towards GGG and have something against Canelo? @IsaL You genuinely annoy me too, but I just call **** how I see it.
