Canelo is the new p4p #1 if you had him beat GGG.

To be fair to Canelo, he showed a ton of skill and heart in there tonight and looked every inch a p4p talent from start to finish. He's really come into his own as a result of these fights with GGG.

I don't either. I still haven't got round to re-watching and re-scoring Jack vs Groves yet, which I told you years ago I would do lol

There's better than this dude. I actually felt that, with GGG getting old, Canelo would be able to win clearly. He failed.

    P4P no1 my ass.

Before the fight all we heard was Canelo has no stamina, Canelo's a runner, and of course that without his supposed magic supplements he'd have no success. And now when he attacks and throws more than he ever has suddenly GGG won the fight with his masterful jab against a dumb brawler? Sure. Just total hypocrisy from the GGG fanboys.

Canelo is one of the smartest boxing minds out there. We should also credit his trainer Eddie Reynoso. He came up with a game plan of backing GGG up while boxing and countering responsibly, right from the first bell. They took the effectiveness of GGG's jab and the extension of his power away by backing him up. Yeah GGG fought back and punished Canelo and Canelo swayed from his strategy late, making it a close fight, but overall Team Canelo won this with that brilliant changeup of game plan.

Hard to say anyone else is as VERSATILE as Canelo's now shown he is. He's learnt from his past challenges so well, and he's now able to implement the best game plan possible for each matchup.

Can you and shadow stay away from my threads though lol. I don't want to be grouped in as a Canelo groupie. I feel like I'm unbiased and fair. But if I associate with you guys it's a bad look for me.

Totally. Late Saturday nights after a big fight when you've still got the buzz going are for soaking up the response on the internets. Sunday with breakfast is for the rewatch.

Lol helllll no, I'm staying the hell away from this for like a week. Plus I'm worried that if I see a GGG win I'd have to re-watch it for the third time. No thanks.

Depsite me being a huge Canelo fan, I try to be unbias.

The first fight I suggested it was 51/49 im favor of Canelo.

This time I said 55/45 in favor of Canelo.
