I think BJS is a stylistic terror for Canelo, as proved in the Lara and Trout fights. But "pretenders", really? Saunders hasn't fought anybody of their calibre yet. How he would handle Canelo's surgical counters or GGG's calculated pressure is a complete unknown.

He had no need to fight GGG, making him wait just gave him time to improve and GGG just get older and easier. GGG is a typical bully, when Billy Joe didn't want the fight GGG was Tarzan. As soon as Billy wanted the fight GGG put lip stick and a skirt on and went by the name of Jane.
Both GGG and Clenelo would beat BJS Clenelo would land on BJS and he has his unbias judges. Do you see BJS winning 10 rounds out of 12 to get given a 114-113 win on the cards then? You must be on crack if you think BJS is going to be that dominant against a fighter as good as Clenelo.
Clenelo would legitimately beat BJS in a boxing match. He is all around a better fighter and lands harder punches. BJS rarely puts in full on hard shots. That would be the difference for me. He wouldn’t even need his judges to call it the win.
