Stupid! The reality is Canelo is the money fighter. Guys are not going to pass on a fight with him. Fighters fight for money, pride and legecy are secondary. A fighter can get a bad decesion in any fight so ask yourself, do you want to get robbed in a fight making 500k or in a fight making 10 mil?
To be fair, it's not the fighter themselves that are causing the bad decisions. I don't see how Canelo can be at fault in that regard. I really like Alvarez and have been following him closely since the Trout fight. He's fought anyone and everyone since that time period. It's a bit ominous that anytime a fight is close, it'll always go Alvarez' way, but that's more of a promotional problem than a fighter's problem.
All the Canelo hate is really overblown, you can argue about how they got there but ultimately in each of his fights the right person won, and outside of the Mayweather fight the total decision usually waa right on point. Trout and Cotto both lost convincingly regardless of score, Lara was a close 50/50 fight and the official decision of a SPLIT decision reflected that, the first GGG fight was a close 50/50 fight that ended in a DRAW, and this last fight was a 50/50 bout that ended in a majority decision...if all of those fights went had the same final result but the cards for Alvarez were scores 115-113 instead of some being wide nobody would cry about any of those decision.
It is what it is! Answer my question! Would you rather get robbed in a fight making 500k or 10 mil? In boxing corruption is not specific to big names in big fights only. Besides the fight was close, not a robbery, so stop crying!
Exactly, fighters will take their chances for a big payday even if the cash cow gets preferential treatment.
Obviously I would have the 10 million but my argument is why fight a guy if you've got no chance of winning.
Absolutely disgusting got robbed of his titles, unbeaten record, record defences and legacy. Yet some people don’t care about the result and just focus on it being a great fight.
