The funny thing is that triple G has shown that a puncher can outbox a tactical fighter. Clenelo treid a different approach this time but to no avail. Though I cannot deny he has a solid chin and determination.
No. GGG is just an older fighter that relied alot on his durability and punching power, which unfortunately doesn't always hold up well in a fighter's late 30's. Punches the GGG would've walked through 2-3 years ago were making him hesitate and back off yesterday. Joe Louis also didn't seem to have much punching power or durability left in his late 30's.
i agreew wholheartedly... GGG looked one dimensional. doesn;t work in levels like top flight boxers do. I wouldn;t say GGG is a top boxer per se. I dunno, I saw another draw but not unhappy with result, Canelo pushed him back more and more.
They absolutely count but they really don't mean as much when the other guy is being the effective aggressor, displaying better ring generalship, out power-punching you, landing more body shots and causing more physical damage. It was a tale of two fights some of you need to deal with it.
That's debatable. Either way It may be important, but one jab is not scored higher than one power punch.
