I thought this fight was great. Much better than the first. I had GGG winning the first and Canelo squeaking this one. Great skill and technique on display and both came to fight. Despite that, personally I don’t want to see a 3rd fight. These fights are brutal and aging and will cut their careers short. I’d like to see them mix it up with others in and around their division.
Sure.. I don't think GGG can do anything better. All he can do is land jabs and hope its enough to overcome Canelo's power punches, defense, and ring generalship in the judges eyes.
Both were good fights, but if GGG can't set up a KO, what's the point? First fight showed he'll never get it on the cards. Nobody would have cried about a draw last night.
This content is protected In regards to the trilogy I agree also big time, even as a fan and as good as both fights were, no need. Canelo just reached his prime and Golovkin is not going to do any better.
It's obviously not going to be by going to the body. He's also slower and now has that hesitance that comes with age. The only thing he could do now is pair that uppercut he found late with his jab. He'd be another year older in May and further deteriorated.
