Povetkin looking like a light heavyweight vs Super heavyweight. AP has Mean combos but last time he fought a World champion Elite Puncher his legs were noodles & had a bowl cut

AJ will flatten Povetkin, Sasha guard has too many holes/defensive lapses.

Ah great, can compare non juice vs on juice ko's of PEDvetkin. I expect AJ to knock out Povetkin. Just gotta keep the pressure on until he's fully out.

I don't mean to be all flippant about this, but who is to say Povetkin will not get back on the juice? The guy is a Russian national hero and I am sure Putin can kook him up with something that cannot be detected.

I continue to say that Joshua is about to get a surprise. I like Big Josh and hope he pulls it out, but I fear he is not taking this seriously, with another fight scheduled and more interest in what Wilder and Fury are doing that what is in front of him.

The tale of the tape will show Povetkin with a much bigger neck, head and chest. Joshua has the height, and reach and about 20 pounds on him.

There are undetectable PED's out there that's for sure. Yeah, gotta assume a fighter like him is on the juice. Still I'm picking AJ, despite strongly disliking his ducking and tap dancing persona that I hope isn't the real him.

Povetkin will bring more constant pressure and angle punching than Joshua can handle. Povetkin by late TKO

Angles will definitely be Sasha's friend on this one. Joshua can be stiff in there and hopefully Povetkin can sidestep him and land that left hook right hook combo.

Povetkin started fighting at another level when he started using PED's, and we don't know if he's still taking them. That along with his age makes it hard to know what to expect from him in this fight. He's always been a good fighter, but he's never been as impressive as his record would indicate, and I think he should have won the Klitschko fight by disqualification. That was a very embarrassing performance from Klitschko, who I believe could have won the fight without the excessive holding.

When an older Povetkin suddenly started knocking people out in a way he had never done before, it was obvious he was on something, but now I'm not sure since he's been caught. Joshua should win, but he's still got a few questions of his own to answer which makes the fight interesting. I was worried about how Luis Ortiz would look before the Wilder fight for the same reasons. Hopefully Povetkin shows up in good form like Ortiz did.

Joshua is being complacent with this one and I think he's in for a surprise.

LOL, Povetkin had always used Meldonium. He didn't "start fighting on another level". Remember, his worst fights vs Wlad and Huck happened while he was using Meldonium and while it was legal. There's literally no difference between that Povetkin and this one, except for that he's now pushing 40.

I admit that I don't know much about PEDs, but I do believe they are used by most fighters to varying degrees. I know about the circumstances of Povetkin's failed test, but I still believe he was using something based on how he started fighting and knocking people in a way he had never done before in a long career. I will never believe his sudden change at his age wasn't the result of some new PED. I think PED use is even more common with aging fighters. I think Ortiz is still using something, and it's why Mansour fights as good as does for being so old. They extend a fighters career significantly.

I'm kind of conflicted on there use since they result in better fights. I don't think all are necessarily that bad for your health when used in moderation. I wouldn't mind certain substances being allowed at a reasonable level, but I doubt you could do that and have a way to regulate it. It would just make it easier to cheat and take further, but it's not regulated that good now either. I don't know enough specifics on the subject to give much of an opinion, but I've seen the difference they can make in a fighter in boxing and MMA.
