The fight went pretty much went as I expected, even though I rooted for the other guy to win. Hat's off to Alvarez for dethroning a very dug in champion.
I thought Golovkin won by a round but only because Canelo's gas tank emptied after the 8th round, prior to that he did what I knew he could do and stood toe to toe with GGG and even backed him up. We saw that in the first fight too, but people just focused on him back pedaling to take a breather instead of seeing he was out fighting GGG when they traded.
You must of watched a different fight, that's unfortunate because it was a good one. Golovkin threw close to 900 punches and landed the majority of the power punches to the head. He showed more versatility being able to switch effectively from stalker to out boxer. Who would've thought that it would've been Canelo trudging forward eating punches with his face? Golovkin was also clearly landing the bigger shots down the stretch like those head snapping uppercuts that had Canelo looking up at the rafters and that shot in the 11th that rocked Canelo and forced him to hold on.
Stfu! Canelo won this fight and made GGG a good boy. Me liking canelo has nothing to do with pbf i dont like ggg and 90% of his fans. Long live king canelo! Deal with it.
GGG is STILL the best middleweight in the world & will be until someone LEGITIMATELY beats him Canelo HASN'T done that GGG won both fights
