Still undefeated champion with a perfect record in many eyes. Crooked judges scores written down in ink on a piece of worthless paper doesn't alter what actually happened in the ring. The same way I don't see Ward as unbeaten due to getting beaten by SK in their 1st enounter, is the same way I see Canelo with 2 losses on his record.
There’s no evidence. Like Teddy Atlas (GGG hater) said “robbery, without fingerprints” The World knows... #andstill
So as I’m moving on from this BS I see the bread delivery guy (hardcore Mexican boxing fan) and he starts raging about how boxing is Fd and how he wants nothing to do with it saying it’s all about the money and they robbed the 3 G guy
I am not a Canelo fan by no means, he didn't win the first fight. But, in this fight he came at GGG and punished him with the far harder shots. Golovkin looked every bit the part of a 36 year old fighting at middleweight and the majority of what he landed were range finder jabs. Watch it again and listen to the body shots Canelo landed, GGG was hurt by many of them. GGG fought with a lot of heart down the stretch but his biggest enemy was his birthdate
I must admit I was astonished by Canelo's performance, highly impressed by his bravery and I applaud him for fighting with the heart of a lion to the very last. After that masterful display I now have him joint second with BJS in my top ten middleweight list and am convinced he is the real deal. Nonetheless he lost, albeit by a whisker and therefore it's not fair to call this a robbery in any capacity but the fact remains, if this bout had taken place anywhere else but Vegas Golovkin would have been proclaimed the rightful victor. Instead the house won on the night and Golovkin should never have agreed to taking a second bout in Vegas. In all fairness he only has himself to blame for giving the same corrupt Vegas officials who robbed him the first time the benefit of a doubt a second time. Overall I find this to be a bitterly frustrating way to see one of boxing brightest stars of the last decade finish his career with a now blemished record. It's almost enough to make me want to stop watching boxing but I won't because as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter there is now a loss recorded on his record, as he's still 40 and 0 in my mind. That said, best of luck to Canelo, he's certainly no fraud in terms of his ability and I will continue watching his bouts with interest. Nonetheless I find him a deplorable character, not only because he's a spineless cheat but also because he knows deep down that he lost both times and yet will never admit to it, just like Floyd will never admit he lost to Castillo because when all is said and done they're both bitches who don't know the meaning of sportsmanship.
I said it after the first fight, GGG will never get a decision over Canelo while Golden boy is pushing him as their Golden goose. If you can't KO canelo, you will never beat him on the cards. The fact they had a judge in the Floyd fight when canelo got humiliated tells u all u need to know.
I scored 9-3 live, watched it again today still 9-3, Golovkin controlled the whole fight, when he was backing up it was because he was baiting Canelo
