If Canelo fights Lemiuex next, I think Lara would be a good bounce back fight for GGG.

Regardless Lara has still proven his legs are not completely gone and I think he'd utilize his wquick feet to his advantage early on. But I don't think Lara can keep away from GGG for 12 rounds and it will only be a matter of time before GGG lands something critical and get the stoppage.

That's why I said it would be similar to Brook. He'd have his moments. But GGG would show no respect to Lara at all and stomp him out within 6. Canelo will rematch GGG. People will buy the PPV over any other fight and he's only going to get better while GGG will regress. I don't see why he wouldn't fight GGG.

Bollocks to bounce back fights or rematch - one of GGG and Canelo should fight the winner of Jacobs fight and the other the winner of the Saunders fight. Then the winner of these two fights should fight each other, best vs the best.

Id like to see him fight murata in Japan. Its a big fight there and he can get a decent payday. Lara fight economically wouldnt make sense

I would agree, yes. Especially with Lara past his prime as well.

    Willing how?

He's been tweeting about the fight for years, his team never once approached Loeffler and he stayed at 154 the whole entire time.

Now suddenly we are to believe him?

Well the fight is now more makeable than before, so if GGG is looking for a dance partner for a tune-up why not offer it to Lara and shut his mouth once and for all? Make it happen

I'd rather see him move up or if not fight Murata/BJS/Charlo he still beats all 3 imo and they're much better than Lara who if he did move up and get flattened the same crowd on here who was originally calling Lara a "bogeyman" will flip the script and say Golovkin dragged him up.....tbh I think it's a no win situation for Golovkin.

But he has a draw and close loss against him 8-4,8-4 and 7-5 iirc.

    Not exactly different level scoring.

Lemiuex is a tough fight for Canelo in December.
