Fighting him three times had nothing to do with Hopkins. Blame the WBA, Hopkins had to fight him again to get the De La Hoya fight. He played it safe that fight, not taking any chances and ruining his big pay day. If Hopkins fought Golovkins opposition, he would have a huge KO ratio. And as far as the skill level of Allen, he was a solid contender at the time. Neither Canelo, or Golovkin ever looked like he looked in those three and a half rounds of the first fight with Hopkins. That's a fact.

Allen was horrendous and the fact he was a solid contender just proves how crap the division was at the time.

If Allen was so solid what was his top wins?

That's just like, your opinion, man. I don't think any fighter of the past walks through Canelo or Golovkin because both of them are top boxers of today and on average athletes of today are better than athletes of the past.

It was better than Golovkin's middleweight division, that's a fact. Hopkins middleweight resume is noticeably better than Golovkin's. The Allen from that first Hopkins fight would give Canelo fits. Go watch it, and tell me he wouldn't.

We'll move along then. Anybody who cares to take a look at the first Hopkins vs Allen night would see that Allen brought his A game with him that night. All I'm saying.

But who had he beaten or went on to beat to be worthy of lofty praise?

    Simple question.

Cast the line and caught a fish. You are one of the ones I was talking about. I was fairly specific, with what I typed. Stretch it out however you want.

Yeah, you said that "I'll never let a white boy beat me." isn't racist but you only argue that "white boy" isn't racist. Sure, "white boy" is not racist but the whole sentence most definitely is. Let me replace "white" with "black" and let's imagine a white man saying it and see how it sounds. "I'll never let a black boy beat me." Sure does sound racist, doesn't it?

And that’s your opinion, man, but I’ll explain my rationale further.

Today’s men are better athletes. However, I firmly believe our ancestors, particularly those who lived the majority of their lives before say 1960, were way tougher than we are today. Boxing being a contest determined largely by willpower, perseverance, and toughness, i.e., “boxing is 90% mental,” leads me to believe that the fighters I named would walk through Canelo and GGG. Although Canelo’s proven tough in the current era, I think those fighters walk through him easier than they would GGG. Again, this is down to my belief that life in Kazakhstan is tougher than life in Guadalajara, Mexico.

So Canelo can outbox GGG in the first fight then out work him in the 2nd, but Hagler won't stop him lol.
Get GGG's d*ck out your mouth.
