Would they have been VADA tested?

    Both are known ped cheats.

Funny how he (Hopkins) works for the promotion team for the guy who "beat" the guy who had a chance to beat his record.

Hopkins wasn't The Champ in all of his MW World Title fight defenses either.

    ah so.

    so.

your saying that Bernard, one of a team of hundred staff, magically enrolled Yuri Geller and Harry Potter into the ring that night to stop 3g throwing punches that would win him the fight?

Hopkins was just the IBF MW Champ from April of '95 - April of '01. He had already failed in two attempts to win that belt, L12 Jones and D12 Mercado. He beat Mercado in a rematch. One of those IBF defenses was a NC to Robert Allen... who he beat two times in rematches. So, 20 successful defenses of a MW world title but one of those fights was a NC... No Contest, so its not really supposed to count as a fight.

A No-Contest isn't supposed to count as anything other than a No-Contest. If there was no contest, how could that count as a defense?

It was a joke, but don't act like Hopkins doesn't stand out among their staff members, definitely the 2nd most popular guy on the team.

Golovkin has 20... 20-1-1 in MW world title fights. It is what it is. Just stats, it doesnt mean this guy could beat that guy.

Hopkins is 20-3-1 1 NC in MW World title fights.

Going overboard would be saying any fighter could beat Canelo or GGG easy. The only one with a shot is RJJ and I have my doubts with that.

He went down twice. I'll count that as being momentarily hurt, although the second, I couldn't even tell what happened. So twice.

Uh, Hopkins had the IBF belt while GGG had the interim/regular wba belt until his fight with Rosado.
