R1-10/9 Close GGG. Neither landed any meaningful punches. Canelo landed some grazing power shots but GGG outlanded him with clean jabs. The best punch is probably GGG snapping Canelo's head back with a jab at the end of R1. Canelo did land a left hook but I couldn't tell if it was clean. Wouldn't argue if you had it for Canelo. 10-9 GGG R2-10/9 Clear Canelo. GGG had his moments in the beginning of the round landing a nice uppercut. Canelo answers back by faking a hook to the body and smashing GGG's face with a massive hook. He also lands a 3 punch combo and some body shots that hurt me watching it. GGG had his moments though, it wasn't completely dominant but Canelo clearly won the round. 19-19 R3-10/9 Close Canelo. It seemed like GGG landed more but Canelo landed some good clean body shots and the best headshot with an uppercut. I edged it for him because he was the ring general. Wouldn't be mad if you gave it to GGG. 28-29 R4-10/9 Clear GGG. Canelo has his moments with body shots but GGG's uppercut in the beginning of the round clearly separated the round. Canelo did well controlling the ring and pushing GGG back though. 38-38 R5-10/10 This round was a hard one to judge. GGG was dominating until Canelo lands a massive right hand. By far the most meaningful punch in the round. GGG those land a lot more punches than Canelo but I couldn't give it to him since they weren't that effective. He lands some hooks, straights and uppercuts. 48-48 R6-10/9 Canelo. Canelo lands the big power shots while GGG lands mostly jabs. 57-58 R7-10/9 Canelo close. This was a hard round for me to score. I could not tell if a lot of Canelo's shots were landing due to angles and GGG did seem to outland him. But Canelo's ring generalship won him that round for me. 66-68 R8-10/9 GGG close. Another hard round to score. Canelo clearly dominated the first minute but I felt like GGG's punches seem to affect Canelo way more though it could be due to fatigue. It could definitely go to Canelo too. 76-77 R9-10/9 Canelo. GGG definitely landed his fair share of shots but Canelo lands the most effective ones. 85-87 R10-10/9 GGG clear. GGG lands the most effective shots in this round. Possibly his best round. Canelo looking a bit tired and missing a lot. 95-96 R11-10/9 GGG close. This round was way closer than I thought. Everyone was talking about how 10-11 was clear GGG but Canelo gets in some very clean power shots. 105-105 R12-10-10 EVEN. 115-115 I felt like a total cop out scoring the 12th even since it was the deciding round but scoring it either way made me feel a bit biased. GGG landed the best shot in the round but Canelo landed more consistent power shots. Robbery? Nope. Close fight that could have gone either way? Yup. Case dismissed.

Not bad, pretty good actually, but I disagree with you on the 3rd, 5th, 9th and 12th. I also hate with a passion scoring something 10/10, although if ever were there a fight where that was applicable, then this one was it. Gun to your head, if you had to give the 5th and 12th to someone, it would be GGG wouldn't it?
I did this without going back to rounds and changing them. I would give 5 to Canelo and 12 to GGG. So it's still a draw.
I will admit that GGG boxed far better than I thought. Kellerman's "story of the fight" **** did sway me the 1st viewing. I watched it with Mexican commentary. This content is protected It was a way better fight than I thought. These guys are really evenly matched.
So no matter what you do, you can't come up with a clear Canelo win. Thank Christ I watched it with the Brit commentary first, Max Kellerman really is a Grade A little corporatist ***** for that ****, his commentary lately has been reprehensible, did you see the Nietes-Palicte fight? He was one Nietes dick from the opening bell, he was laying the groudwork for this "story of the fight" nonsense with that one.
I can't come up with a clear GGG win either. They were really evenly matched. I don't see how it's this "atrocious robbery" or robbery at all. I still think the fight I mentioned to you in inbox was "probably" more clear for one fighter lol. The way people are reacting is like this was a Murata/N'dam 1 type robbery and no, almost 2 years later and I'm still not over it. Wish people had the same reaction for that fight lol. And nah, I haven't seen it yet. I'll get around to it soon lol, hopefully I can find an HBO one so I can enjoy Kellerman's story of the fight shennanigans.
Have fun. I have a feeling you'll literally want to punch him in the face, I bet Harold eventually will, or land a flying elbow. He's probably getting sick and tired of that douchebag undermining his cards from start to finish. This content is protected
Lol Max and Lampley really love pushing an agenda. It was clear as day who they wanted to win. Lampley was awful in the Ward/Kovalev 1 fight and he had moments in this fight too. Kellerman was awful in the GGG/Canelo 2 fight and had his moments in the Ward/Kovalev 1 fight.
But at least like with me, Lampley's (also an Aries) bias is usually based purely on passion. whereas Max's isn't from passion, but more to push a hipsterish/corporate agenda.
Pretty good card. It can be scored either way or draw, no robbery here. After 7 I had Canelo 5-2, but GGG upped his game late and took most of the late rounds. These two are very evenly matched. I also think that rematch was more entertaining than their 1st fight.
Fair enough, I can respect going against the grain, not too many people have this a draw. Nothing wrong with draw rounds either in my opinion, I think they should be utilized more if anything.
I'd love to see a rematch tbh. Canelo would probably win but if GGG just made the adjustment to commit to the body more he could make it a lot more interesting. It was weird to me that he didn't go to the body when Canelo was gassed out from 10-11. What happened to those killer left hooks? And I get it, if you go for the body your risk getting countered bad and since GGG is a lot slower than Canelo he didn't want to take that risk. But Canelo predicted GGG perfectly and just bob and weaved outta trouble in the 10th when GGG landed that big shot.
It could have been scored a draw but I had Canelo up 7-5. People statingRobbery must have been eating a big bag of sour grapes.
