    Isn’t it obvious?
    Ggg power was a mirage
He only KOd glass chin fighters like Wade, Monroe, etc

    Ok joking aside
He’s heavy handed but most of his KOs were either quit jobs or ref stoppages
In his absolute prime he nearly killed Ishida in the ring, a fighter that to this day has never even been dropped let alone stopped.

Lemieux and Murray were ref stoppages
    Stevens corner stopped it
Geale said no mas on his way to taking a nap
    Brook corner stoppage
    Rubio said no mas

His last 3? The 2nd fight was over in 2 rounds.

He had Canelo hurt at times for sure in that last fight but the dude has a chin I didn't think he had. Plus when he did feel shots he was smart about it, moved his upper body loads to avoid follow ups and didn't fight stupidly like an Amir Khan might have. Chin + ring smarts + being hard to hit clean, makes you a tough out to KO for anyone.

A lot of folk have talked about GGG's power in the wrong way. He's never been a 1 punch game over guy generally speaking. He's just someone who has heavy ****ing hands. Murray and I think Macklin gave both said it, just every punch was hard, as opposed to someone like Lemmy (who has genuine 1 punch ending power) who doesn't generate big power with every punch.

Finally stopped facing cans and no hopers. That's what happened like I said it would.

After that flash knockdown, Jacobs mixed it up a several times.

GGG wasn't throwing his left hook because he was scared of knocking Canelo out.

You cant deny Lemieux is a monster puncher and very dangerous, that's why GGG and BJS chose to box him.

He can punch no doubt about that but he will be always outboxed by any slick boxer! He is a one trick pony and his chin is no good

yeh but noone figures in that return to bum club. Vanes should never have been a defence, however he was a late stand in so maybe its acceptable.

The sentiment on Jacobs on this site dramatically did a 180 after that fight.

People citing him as "elite" and "very skilled" were saying anything but before he fought Golovkin. Jacobs' chin was routinely ragged on. People see what they want to see.

The answer is obviously a combination of:

    A) time keeps ticking, age

    B) Jacobs and Canelo are his two best opponents, with a very large gap before the next guy shows up
