i have not watched a replay yet, but im pretty sure its not going to change a thing. canelo just beat ggg the hell up, it was too plain for me to confuse it with anything else. i could see it in ggg's face too, he knew he was getting his ass handed to him, just like abel knew.
most of the posters are reacting out pain, you can tell by their emotional responses, it actually hurts them that someone saw ggg getting worked over. it happens to the best of em.

I won't be surprised if Max or Lampley go the Bruce Jenner route

Its seems to me that you're very susceptible to the power of suggestion, what are you afraid of? Changing your mind. No one is reacting out of pain, we're reacting out of outrage at an unjust decision. Find the British version where there's no bias whatsoever, they're just calling the match, maybe you'll see it more clearly, for the record, I've seen all three versions the Russian, British and HBO.

i was watching the brit version, i thought they were brain damaged, i think i mentioned it in the rd by rd.
no, the emotional responses and lashing out of some posters are completely unwarranted for the gravity of the situation, this isnt about the sport, its about a guy who makes them feel a certain way about themselves. floyd did that, so did pac. not judging, just making it clear that i see them also, just like i saw the others i mentioned.

Not too long ago some of these same guys were complaining how bad some of Brit telecasts are, now suddenly they're impeccable.

Watch it again, I genuinely have no clue what you were watching, IIRC even IB said to you he had no clue what you were talking about when you said GGG was on the verge of being stopped, although that may not have been you. There was no beatdown occurring whatsoever, GGG has a rough time of it for the first 3 rounds, 6 and 7 weren't great, but once Golovkin adjusted he stabilized the match and took over. I'm not delusional, I'm incredibly reasonable, GGG's jab and cleaner punches were far more effective and started take a toll middle to late, after the pop wore off of Canelo's that were taking a toll early. And pay very close attention to what's actually landing and being blocked, I went back and watched it two more times to see if I was crazy, well I'm not, and wasn't seeing things, GGG's defense was on point, while yes Canelo was throwing and landing haymakers, on GGG's arms, shoulders and gloves, which don't count.

Not a bad card tbh, I differed on a few rounds I had Golovkin sweeping 4 to 6, then 8 to 11 and actually gave Canelo r12.

I thought Golovkin was busier and working off the jab very well, whilst Canelo was the aggressor but GGG picked a lot of his shots off.

    Good breakdown.

Just for comparison my card was.

    1. GGG
    2. Canelo
    3. Canelo
    4. GGG
    5. GGG
    6. GGG
    7. Canelo
    8. GGG
    9.GGG
    10. GGG
    11. GGG
    12. Canelo

My overriding feeling was a clear Golovkin win, I honestly enjoyed this fight better than the first and thought their first fight whilst I scored it again 116-112 for GGG was much closer.

It was closer than I thought. Re-watching it made me think it was a fight that was close with a lot of toss up rounds. @Cafe mentioned something that I agree with. GGG's style and Abel talking before the fight definitely affected the way I viewed these rounds when I first watched them.

I still don't agree with any of this robbery talk though. Watch it again and let me know if you agree or disagree.

lol that's true inconsistencies. Do you think that there is no case for GGG winning or a draw and it's a clear Canelo win?

No case for GGG? It's funny because most are saying it's a straight robbery for GGG or clear Canelo. No one is really down the middle saying it was a close fight that could go either way.

    rd 1-
first scoring punch landed by canelo with 2:07 left in the rd, a long right to the body. next scoring blow is a ggg right to the head, which isnt seen but canelos glove placement suggests it connected. next scoring blow is a canelo jab with 1:18 left in the rd, isnt seen but gggs head bounced back. they exchange jabs, gggs is wide, canelo connects. ggg connects the second of a double jab with :49 left on clock. they trade jabs at :36 left, both connect. ggg lands jab at :28 and canelo answers with a 3 punch combo that only lands the straight to the body clean. canelo lands a hard jab with :16 left in rd. last scoring blow is a long left hook by canelo that reaches around ggg guard.
7 scoring blows for canelo, 4 for ggg
    RD 1 CANELO

lets get this first rd squared away so we can see who is looking at what, then move on down. dispute any of my post or agree that rd 1 is canelo.
