His power was never all that anyone can look like the second coming koing cans like he was doing as soon as he stepped up his comp those KOs disappeared and I tried telling people that for years. I don't listen to paid sparring partners brought in to make GGG look good. I know boxing and knew that he had never koed a fighter of note. Like I always say anyone can look good koing a bunch of cans, Jeff Lacy and Thurman ring a bell. What happened when he stepped up in class? Canelo ate his punches like candy. Jacobs does have a weak chin how can you explain a feather fist like Mora dropping him and hurting him worse than GGG ever did?

What you're stating, doesn't only apply to GGG though. Every boxer will have a lower knockout success against top opponents, compared to lower level opponents. GGG is not immune to this rule!

'Power punchers' are a myth. They don't exist! If a boxer knocks his opponent out, it's more down to skills than raw power. Genuine POWER PUNCHERS are a myth because unless someone has the power to literally KO ANY and EVERY opponent if they land flush power punches, then they can't be considered a REAL or GENUINE power puncher. And such a boxer simply doesn't exist.

GGG has been exposed of being a feather fist in 24 rounds against Canelo Alvarez. Lennox Lewis was exposed of being feather fisted in 24 rounds against Evander Holyfield, against Levi Billups and against Zeljko Mavrovic. Deontay Wilder was exposed as being a feather fist against Johann Duhaupas when none of his punches were powerful enough to even drop, never mind KO Duhaupas after 11 rounds. Mike Tyson was exposed as a feather fist against Tony Tucker, Danny Williams, Mitch Green and etc. We can go on and on, but you get the point!

Simply put, NOBODY is a GENUINE power puncher or a knockout artist. Unless someone comes along and can crack any opponent's chin with their power punches, irrespective of how durable or tough their opponent is. As in, no opponent should be able to take their power punches. If even one can, then they disqualify from being a GENUINE power puncher or a knockout artist.
