When Zarate fought Wilfredo Gomez their combined records were 73-0-1 with 72 KO’s.

I know. I was responding to another post that mentioned Taylor and what not. Just messing with these guys. He mentioned something about today's standards, so I had to throw corruption and crooked judging into the mix. You know how these threads can take a turn into directions the OP had no intention of going in. My apologies, I will stay on topic!

Easy! All I am saying is, Salvador Sanchez had fought better opposition in his first 44 fights than Chavez. And all, by the time he was 23. Is that not impressive as hell? Compare their first 44 fights. Prove me wrong and I will be the first to say you were correct. By the way, Chavez was a bad dude, I just feel SS could have surpassed him in greatness, if he had not died at such a young age.

Sugar ''Money'' Mac was 0-0-0 when he fought 49-0 aka Mr 'TBE' but I bet a lot of the casuals watching who weren't familiar with either combatant probably thought someone had made a mistake on the graphic and mixed their records up with each others, well certainly had they been watching the first 4 rounds they would've ie. when Sugar ''Money'' Mac still had air in his lungs and he was taking 'TBE' to Slick School.

when you take into account when they fought the guys they fought, yes. pac, mosely, dlh, and hernandez were all past their best by quite a bit, and who else is worth mentioning vs chavez? his sparring partner went 1-1 with floyd, ffs.

I keep waiting for somebody to mention how crazy that Zarate vs Zamora fight was. Besides the insane slugfest action with no ****s given by either fighter for four rounds you have a member of the crowd jumping into the ring in the first round like Fan Man* in Bowe/Holyfield 2. Then he gets swarmed by police who toss him over the ropes and dump him on his head. And after the fight is over the managers start fighting, a riot erupts, and security fills the ring trying to separate everybody. What more do you want?

*Hmm, Fan Man has his own wikipedia page.

lol, the guy should have worn a g-string instead of those boxers, he would have been a star. the way he stood there looked like superman dropping in on lex luthor in the middle of a crime.

Deontay Wilder could get to 52-0 with 51 KOs in five years. Only 12 fights to go.

Not insecure! SS will always have a spot in my heart. I was 12 when he died. I'm a sh!t talker by nature! Isay things to get a rise or a laugh out of people for the most part. 99.9% of the time it's for fun.
