I got Canelo more skilled, better punch selection and definitely tougher more sturdy than Norton. I rate Norton though

 

He was faster than GGG probably always was but GGG has high ring IQ and knows with his speed diminishing it gives the faster fighter an opening if GGG goes the body

 

No **** his best win is Danny Jacobs, let that sink in. That screams average. And they had the nerve to have this joke P4P #1. I mean you can't make this type of **** up.

No he's not to put GGG's name next to Ali's is a cruel joke he isn't fit to carry Ali's spit bucket. Ali is a top 3 ATG his skills resume and legacy are so beyond that of GGG that even light years don't do it justice, it's that vast.

 

It is if you're busting the guy up with the jab and/or keeping him on the outside. Golovkin's jab did neither.

Canelo got through with over 140 power punches so his jab wasn't that effective. It was mostly slipped , parried or taken on the gloves.

 

I think that ali was like tiger woods, so I would say that gg is like a later tiger woods.

Just saying as you hype him up way more than GGG and he's still fought nobody besides b level Trout who he arguably lost to.

We have seen weaker p4p #1 before though recently. Shane Mosley rose to p4p #1 and his best win was unknown Lightweights. Nobody had ever heard of any of them.

Loma is currently #1 and his best win is either GRJ or Linares. Which isn't great, but not ridiculous like GGG.

But Crawford is #2 and his best win is Victor Postol, FFS.

So GGG didnt have the resume to back it up. But neither did guys like Mosley or Crawford.

What does Charlo have to do with this? We are talking about Ali and GGG and him being compared to Ali which is hilarious. BTW you've never been to Houston because we don't allow sissies here.

Ali got bust up at 29 and prime by my boy Frazier, bbbbbbut he wasn't match fit bla bla bla….

It woulda took a heavyweight to beat GGG at 29, and a roided one at that with a bent ref

 

Shane Mosley also beat Oscar at WW to get that ranking and he moved from 135 to 147 to do it which is much more legit than anything GGG ever did. BTW Crawford was never P4P #1.
