Canelo will stall it until September for GGG to lose another year, Canelo might win for real next time.

He even said that it's hard to complain about the judges when you appoint them yourself lol.

The fact that GGG didnt throw body punches even when canelo stood there with his body available to be hit says everything. GGG was too timid in both fights, he was intimidated by the speed.
Only in the last 4 rounds did GGG do anything resembling what he should have been doing the entire fight.

GGG lost atleast 5, probably 6 of the first 8 when he pitty patted (which is why canelo doesnt have a bruised face) and missed with the few punches that he actually put power behind. The jabs? Missed and blocked if you look closely, afterall we know ggg has a hard jab, if had been landing it would have turned canelos pale ginger face into gulash.

Last 4 tounds GGG put in a good effort but all you gotta give is 1 round outnof the last 4 to canelo and you got a draw or a win for canelo.

No robbery. Just pissed off fanboys who dont understand that life isnt fair and GGG and Canelo just peaked several years apart and they were always going to fight when it suited the A side, not when GGG was at his best

Excellent post, and you make a great point about the body punching. There's no excuse for GGG to not have worked the body more consistently with Canelo coming right at him. But it's like what I said a while back about how small of a target Canelo's body is, even at close range. Even with Canelo in full come forward mode, GGG was still worried about getting countered trying to get to the body. With Canelo coming forward, Canelo may have been in even better positions to counter body attempts by GGG. But it just goes to show that no matter which way Canelo fought, GGG still was getting outlanded significant to the body. There was one or two good body shots that GGG managed to get in, but he was still getting blown out in the body shot department.

GGG finished the fight well and really came on in those late rounds, and I see a lot of people are bringing up the 12th round as the round that decided the fight, but you also gotta look at the 11th round. All 3 judges gave the 11th round to GGG which was a round that really could have went either way. All 3 judges gave GGG the 10th too but that was a much clearer round for GGG than the 11th was.

never seen either fight, but a draw and md show both sets of fanatics to be horribly biased.

GGG won both fights, but that’s Canelo with GBP in Vegas, even if GGG outlands Canelo twice GBP will take care that it will be at least draw...

I don’t know how drunk you have to be to score this fight for Canelo, although I appreciate Canelo effort and appreciate that he is great fighter, but GGG at age of 36 throws more than 30% punches and lands almost 15% more punches, lands punches that hurt (10th round) to fighter who is way younger and should be in his prime.

And in regards of third fight, I doubt that GBP would have a lot of bargaining power, it is they who need GGG for more money as there is no other money option except Mayweather.
