Just on the bbc news Big Joshua set to earn 20 million tonight.

Bunce reckons they are very cautious about this fight.

 

PPV has got out of hand. But Anthony Joshua is the biggest star of the sport, certainly on these shores. Povetkin is no mug, at present he’s the 3rd best heavyweight out there.

What I will say is the undercard is pony and a kick in the teeth for real fans. They knows this sells anyway because it’s Joshua so they haven’t put on much for real boxing fans as it sells regardless.

I’m worried about Matchroom USA / DAZN it’s eating up the UK roster and leaving Eddie with the bare bones of a stable. He’s then relying on the Russians to put a few prospects on and Kuzmin v anyone they could they get to prop the show up a bit.

 

I totally agree, that undercard is poor, no offence to matty askin and Okolie but i think a british cruiserweight title doesnt belong on ppv,

The PPV show will probably only start at the Price fight, n theyll save a undercard fight to fill in a spot if required.

Its a poor offering for PPV, id expect more quality on the card so therefore i dont think ill bother, and especially after hearing Joshuas getting 20 mil, i bet the rest arent getting anything over a few hundred k if they are lucky, Povetkin will probably make a few million though.

 

Tbf, that fight does belong on a PPV, but not as the only interesting fight on the entire undercard.

I do pay for fights, but Eddie really is pushing it dishing this up. So will not be out of principle. He keeps banging on about all the money at his disposal, so perhaps throw a few quid and get a couple interesting fights.
