Who was up at time of the Stoppage, Joshua or Povetkin

as you can see I'm not the only one in the world that had Joshua down, so you should **** on everyone else and get off my case.

 

R1: Povetkin won the round even before he stunned / rocked Joshua and clearly won it after he landed the bombs before the bell

R2: Povetkin still landing better shots, defending well, dictating the pace, Joshua on the backfoot but overall a bit closer than the first round

R3: Actually the first round where Joshua was able to fire back and land some good shots + working the jab, Povetkin slowed down a bit and was wide with a lot of his shots

R4: Close round, both did well in the round, you could arguably score it to both fighters but i think a draw is also okay

R5: clear Povetkin round imo, he did all the work while Joshua threw less, landed less and was constantly on the backfoot while Povetkin was dictating the pace

R6: clear Joshua round, he landed 21 punches while povetkin landed only 5, this alone is imo enough to win the round but he also was moving better and pressuring Povetkin to the corners

So after six rounds there are a few possible scores realistic / solid IMO:

58-57 Povetkin
58-56 Povetkin
57-57 Draw

59-56 Povetkin imo a bit too wide as i would definitely give R3,6 to Joshua.

Doesn't make much difference now.

I think POV left a lot in those first 6rds. That was the plan, go fast go hard for the first 6.

 

and that's how most people seen it too. so be it. you saw the fight different than everyone else, I suggest you rewatch the fight with the sound off.

Povetkin, but it does not matter, AJ after the 3rd round read Povetkin and saw all the attacks of Povetkin. Yeap he lost on points, but Povetkin was more tired than AJ.

I had past his best Povetkin winning 6-0.
Three years ago Joshua would of been KO’ed.

 

One judge had AJ up by four. Which, you could see where this fight was headed if it went to a decision.

Was a good stoppage by the referee, Povetkin was out on his feet, terrible scorecards ringside though, you need a KO to get a draw vs a sky sports cash cow.

 

And who did you give 1 to ?

 

You missed Joshua being lit up at the end of that 1st round, right?

Povetkin landed a good shot at the end of the round but there wasn't much action prior to that.

I don't score even rounds & usually give tight ones to the defending champ.
