As predicted, Povetkin's lack of power (feather fistedness) was exposed, but his skills exposed AJ.

Povetkin lacks power because he lacks natural, functional body mass + weight + physical strength. He and his power are not suited for the heavyweight division. He is a guy fighting in the heavyweight division, with light heavyweight power and Lomachenko like boxing skills.

He COULD never beat ANY SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT that knows how to use their size.

But as I said before the fight, Povetkin's feints really would trouble Joshua and they did. Pound for pound, Povetkin is not only the most skilled heavyweight, but is one of the most skilled boxers from any division. Just lacks power to be successful in the heavyweight division.

Povetkin was a 40 y/o veteran going in vs a prime beast on his home turf and 80k of his fans. Lacks power and strength my azz.

Of course, thats HW boxing for you. When one guy has a 30 pound and massive reach advantage, it's very difficult to overcome.

Being 40 and off PEDS didn't help either.

Povetkin was never on PED's. Otherwise, he'd weigh 240 pounds of HUGE muscles like certain bodybuilders do.

Glass jawed Joshua didn't even blink from multiple maximum powered punches that feather fisted Povetkin landed flush on Joshua's chin.

Povetkin's fists are too small and fragile. So are his legs and his body. But his skills are top notch and among the very best in the sport.

Glass chin Joshua was tickling from clean and flush, maximum powered punches that Povetkin landed multiple times. That's a sign of Povetkin being a total feather fist and lacking the power for the heavyweight division.

Lol Lomachenko type skills?? Nah. If Povetkin had Lomachenko type skills Joshua would have gotten his brains boxed out. Povetkin is a very good fighter though no doubt. But he’s past his best unfortunately.

You’ll see what happens to Joshua when he fights against Loma type skills when he steps in against Usyk.

Povetkin also has only average chin, if he had iron chin he could take Joshua

I have been in this forum for just a few hours and Luis Fernando has to be either the biggest troll I ever seen or just a clueless so called boxing fan.

Povetkin bulked AJ's need with glancing blow in the first round. He was winning the first 4 rounds of the fight and probably leading at the time of the stoppage. The casual fans who keep saying 6'2 230 pounds is too small to compete against a guy who is 6'5 is amusing since Wlad got knocked out 3 times ins his career by guys around that size. Once you become 205 plus pounds you are a full heavyweight. Adding tons of weight will just make you slow and tire out easy. Which is why fighters back in lets say the 70's until maybe the 90's usually came into the ring in great shape.

Joshua is probably a natural 220 pound guy without the PED's who chooses to bulk up. Tyson Fury is overweight. Jarrell Miller is overweight. Pretty much every contender besides Wilder is overweight.

Povetkin fighting Joshua is like Lomachenko fighting Errol Spence Jr. What do you think would happen to Lomachenko if he fought Errol Spence Jr? Do you think Lomachenko would do any better against Spence Jr. Since that's literally the size difference/

These are just facts! I don't care about single wins, I care about reigns and dominations

The guys who dominated the heavyweight division since 2000 have ALWAYS been at least 6 foot 4 inches in height, and of a similar size as joshua / Klitschkos. This is just a fact! You need to deal with it!

Lamon Brewster had a one off win and didn't do anything after. Didn't dominate the heavyweight division. Nor did Corrie Sanders.

Lol yet Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders, and Lamon Brewster all knocked out Wlade. Ross Purrity was a bum so he wasn't going to dominate anybody besides Wlad. Corrie Sanders was past his prime when he fought Wlad so he wasn't going to be champion anyway. Joseph Parker is 6'3 and became champion. For years Alexander Povetkin was considered one the best heavyweights out there and he is 6'2. For years David Haye was considered a elite heavyweight and he is around 6'1 and not even a natural heavyweight and on that note you get blocked.

Excuses for what? That Joshua would beat a guy who he was supposed to beat by being an ASTRONOMICAL betting favorite officially? I don't need to make excuses, because I never predicted Povetkin would beat Joshua in the first place.

None of this changes the fact that Povetkin was a midget against a giant and that Joshua failed to beat this midget more convincingly than how he did.
