He needs to be kept off of main events and major undercards now. That’s two terrible fights against Chamberlain and Askin and it’s because of his spoiling tactics. Look at Askin’s head on his Twitter from the headbutts. He should have been DQ’d and he’s a laughing stock on Twitter. Even casuals are having digs at him. He’s harming his earning potential.
Is he capable of throwing a single shot without falling into a scrappy clinch...it was like watching Gary Cornish.
Maybe he's being moved a bit too quickly? Don't get me wrong it's great that he has taken good fights but as people have said, it's been awful on the eye once he has stepped up the competition. He should probably stay on British level for the time being.
That was the most disgraceful clinching I have seen in a long time. Utterly boringto watch and despite getting two points deducted carries on holding the entire fight from round 2 onwards. Keep Okolie off all boxing and PPV cards from now on. He either learns how to fight within the rules or will fade into obscurity. I agree his stock is now zero after that. He lost that fight through constant fouling and I dont respect the cards as they were a complete joke.
It was terrible. There’s no two ways about it. I don’t think he threw a single combo all fight? Correct me if I’m wrong because I did stop paying too much attention but what I did see was every time a punch was thrown it was followed by a clinch.
This content is protected Very naive statement from Richards that. Fact is Okolie will struggling to give his tickets away to family members after his last two efforts.
Joshua has the say on who fights on his undercard. Okolie fights on them and Joshua gets some more cash in management fees.
Was terrible. Worst 'fight' ive seen, and i was at Wembley freezing my balls off, in fact the whole undercard stunk the place out, but Okolie was by far the worst l.
It's quite funny when you think about it. You'd think his stock would have risen after just being crowned British Champion against a credible opponent but it has done quite the opposite.
'He has got that holding in a way that it looks like your holding' So everyone in the world was wrong.
