Fury looked crap in his last fight and AJ said he conduct a poll on twitter to find out who they want him to fight and the poll came out with Wilder on top by miles, Fury has to beat a good fighter before most people will take him seriously, Ortiz looked better than Fury did in their last repective fights because Tyson is completely out of shape compared to Wilder.
Joshua said it because he knows Fury will beat Wilder so there is no reason to fight Wilder afterwards.
Was it a TKO, most of Fury`s stoppages were TKO`s, he certainly couldn`t have hurt Takam with the hook that Povetkin finished him with.
Main reason is the green belt, so if Fury can take that off him he becomes a more desirable fight, but there are other reasons. Both fights have their risks but a wilder fight offers the chance to make inroads into the US market. It would probably be a more attractive spectacle as each man will pursue a knockout. Fury is a very talented boxer but his way of fighting is unlikely to play well with the audience AJ has built. He's also capable of making any boxer look foolish. So maybe Wilder will be doing AJ a favour if he knocks Fury out of the reckoning.
AJ gets Kod by Wilder. Wilder hurts people when he lands. AJ cant take some of those shots he took yesterday from Pedvetkin against DW.
Wilder doesnt land those shots though, that's the thing. He'll get reckless and get tagged himself. Think he'll lose to Fury anyway.
Fury said he needed warm up fights about 3 for Joshua after his first comeback fight......for Wilder ? Not so much bc he KNOWS its a much easier and winnable fight. Hearn declined Fury as did Joshua anyway bc they actually want the opponents at their best unlike someone else...lol In the end Joshua wants all the hats with one left too collect beyond the ring belt and will get them no matter who he is fighting so who cares, its called not avoiding anyone and cleaning out the division like no other. Wilder will be a far better fight against Joshua that's why Joshua wants him , Wilder will be lucky to see round 7. This content is protected
